This stuff is the GREATEST!!! My daughter was colicky from 5 weeks to around 3 months and gripe water always helped to calm her down and help her feel better. I would give it to her in the midst of a fit, and she would be asleep in 5 minutes! I still use it to help her nap and she's 6 months (she also has reflux).

This is a WONDERFUL gift for any new mom. A lot of moms don't know about it so it needs a little explaining. I recommended it to me step-sis and she swears by it too!

Purchased at cvs because box said natural safe etc., but if you read the list of ingredients in small print on the back has parabens !!! Which is a chemical preservative used in cosmetics !!! Also tasted it by putting one drop on my tongue, horrible metallic taste that lasted for 3 days. Before putting it in your infants mouth put it in yours and then decide.

This product works really, REALLY well. My second daughter would not respond to the mylicon (sp?) drops for her gas, so I decided to try the gripe water on recommendation from some other moms.

I was very, VERY pleasantly surprised!

Within a few minutes of her taking this, my daughter is back to her happy-go-lucky self and starts smiling and the little tears dry up. A minute or two after that she burps huge burps and farts too, so I know that it's made the gas go away.

I've used it myself, when I've gotten really bad gas pains for whatever reasons, and I feel better within ten minutes of using it too. I gotta say, this stuff works when other stuff doesn't!

We tried this with our daughter and it didn't work at all. We also found out it has parabens in it so we're not using this one anymore.

This product did wonders for my coliky son. It was great to be able order online and not have to take my new born out to busy store during flu season.

My baby is 5 weeks, shes been somewhat fussy with gas issues for 2 weeks with it worsening the last few days; we thought it was the introduction of formula...however its the colic. we started her on colic formula, I stopped giving her breastmilk (as I have read mothers diet can make be a cause) added this gripe water and gas drops. Have gone from incessant crying in the eves and mornings to just 'light' fussing. Not a cure, but a great improvement. Hopefully we can put her back on regular formula and keep the gripe water. It seemed to make the biggest change in her.

Occasionally my son gets an upset tummy that gas drops don't help, we tried this brand of gripe water & have a hard time getting him to swallow-then once we do get him to swallow it....he throws up everything he has eaten recently. the poor little guy looks like a fountain. His tummy ache is often solved, however. We have switched to Mommy's Bliss gripe water & it works much better for us. Good luck.

We had an extremely fussy baby and tried everything to calm her. This product did nothing to help her. She was still extremely fussy and it was obvious her stomach was bothering her. We tried other brands of gripe water (Wellements and Mommy's Bliss) and they worked much better.

We had just brought home our now 3 month old daughter from the hospital and her gas was giving her a lot of issues. She was adjusting to formula since I couldn't keep up with her feedings. We tried Mylicon but it didn't help much. After using gripe water for a few days along with the tummy exercises she began doing great. We haven't had any tummy problems since and she now rarely uses Gripe Water. When she does have problems or the hiccups we use a little taste of gripe water and it makes her feel instantly better. We always keep this in stock at our house. I tried the CVS version and it seems to work just as well.

I bought this product after reading great reviews and the fact it was the only Gripe Water sold at Wal-Mart. While the product works great, it's a horrible struggle to get opened. After I noticed this I looked online to find others complaining of the same thing. It's hard to watch your baby crying, knowing relief is in this bottle, but you cannot get it opened!!
