5.0 out of 5 stars In love at 35,000 feet
Like another reviewer I heard a track from this album on an airplace audio system-- United's Eurobeat. I bought the CD in the duty free store before leaving Paris. The instrumentals are gorgeous, as is her voice. I plan on buying more of her CDs.

3.0 out of 5 stars Lower energy level than De l'amour le mieux
This CD lacks the excitement, tension, and raw energy of De l'amour le mieux. Overproduction obscures this artist's great voice. I would wait for the next album.

5.0 out of 5 stars Every title on the CD is great, March 28, 2005

This CD has good sound and is well orchestrated. In the past several years, I have found that
there are many CD's that had only two or three tracks that I like. That seems to be a complaint
by many people, and it is a reason why the music download services are so popular among
consumers. I like CD's where the whole CD is music I like. That being said, I was extremely
pleased with "L'instant d'après." Francophone music is expensive in the United States, and I felt
that my money was well spent with this CD.

I was pleased with the technical qualities of Natasha St-Pier's voice, as well as all the
arrangements and instrumentation on the whole album. "L'instant d'après" was a welcome
addition to my Francophone rock collection. I look toward adding additional titles from Natasha
St-Pier.

These are beautiful songs with powerful lyrics, a compelling voice and very creative musical arrangements. Natasha really offers something enduring and special. I get the feeling that people will be enjoying her recordings years and decades from now!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Purest Voice, February 16, 2004
By

I first heard this album aboard an Air France jumbo jet somewhere over the Atlantic. For the first time in my life, I was sad to get off an airplane.

The real beauty of Natasha St-Pier's voice is that you need not understand a word of French to fall in love with it. In fact, if you're not a fan of mushy pop ballads, you might be better off. But don't let her status as a "pop" singer throw you off. Her voice is an instrument in its own right, and when she unleashes it fully, you can get lost in it. In the depth and range of her voice, she easily holds her own with Celine Dion, and given time, will almost surely outdo her.

Natasha may be Canadian, but when I hear her voice, I see France, especially Paris. That alone is reason enough for me to love this album.

g.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great songs, April 21, 2004
This review is from: L'Instant D'Apres (Audio CD)
This album is a top shelf. Not only does she have a good voice, the songs are great. They don't drag on and on; each is beautiful and different. "Mourir Demain" has great pop appeal. The others have great music and lyrics, and stand with repeated listening. I recommend this album to people of all ages.

5.0 out of 5 stars As good as it gets, May 5, 2004

Once again (as with all 4 previous releases) this is a masterwork. The voice, the music, everything perfect. Only to be outdone by watching her perform live.
Already I can't wait for her next album

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply beautiful... The perfect Valentine Gift !, January 19, 2004

Natasha is now a star.

This third album is a beautiful accomplishment.

Emotion, romance, lovely ballads, meaningful lyrics. Pascal Obispo is again present behind the scene and has been doing an awesome job.

My favorites: Track 6 and 7. "Je te souhaite" and "Chacun pour soi" both talk about love in so different ways. Simply beautiful...

This is the perfect Valentine gift...

This album is really outstanding. I like most of the songs on the CD, especially "Tant que c'est toi", "J'avais quelqu'un", "Croire" and "Qu'y a-t-il entre nous?"
Natasha has indeed a wonderful voice. I really recommend it.
Bonne écoute!

4.0 out of 5 stars C'est beau!, May 14, 2005

This is at least Natasha St-Pier's third album, and definitely her best effort to date. This album has a more varied style that shows off Natasha's fresh and beautiful voice in catchy arrangements. The influence of Pascal Obispo comes through, especially on guitar. My favorite tracks are Tant Que C'est Toi and Chacun Pour Soi, although they are really all pretty good and grow on you with repeating listening. Now one of Quebec's very best female singers, Natasha St-Pier and Isabelle Boulay are both in a better place than Celine Dion.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Voice That Pierces Heart and Soul, December 18, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: L'Instant D'Apres (Audio CD)
I heard Natasha on the internet and ended up buying 3 CD's in a week. This one is my favorite. I don't understand French but I finally at age 50 found why it is called the language of love. Many singers can carry a tune beautifully, but Natasha doesn't just carry a tune. She breaths life into words and hangs them in front of you to grab them. So I hope I can hear here in concert one day!
