Swaggering great electronica, trance, dance, whatever. No pretense, just fun. Break out the glow-sticks, Russian Imperial Stout, and neon clogs. Altberg has a great voice, thankfully squeakless; he's a talented electronica composer who should be better known in this country. No whining here, just celebration.
"I'm Your Bass Creator" is hyperactivity at its best, with a melodic point that sounds like dancing under the Northern Lights in subzero temps while pumped with adrenalin and icy vodka. "DotA Clubmix" and "Russia Privjet" stand out. I speak enough Russian to enjoy the Swedish accent. On several tracks, the Swedish adds hefty Viking bounce. "Throw Your Hands Up" is one of the best totally hyper tracks ever - if Jean Reno playing a thug, or the Penguins of Madagascar could choose music for their nefarious deeds, this would be it. No one could stand still with this electric stimulation. This CD does not pretend to be anything else but total hyper fun. Although there are several slow miss-fires, like the horrible "Jingle Bells," the raucious and playful tempo has uninhibited energy and thus is great to pump iron to when I get tired of working out to ACDC or Sisters of Mercy. The Icelandic Snorri Sturluson sagas lurk within the upbeat, thrusting bass and drums. Enjoy!

Epic.,
This review is from: LOL (MP3 Download)
I originally only bought the song "DotA" out of random interest on iTunes, and it was a fun song. The lyrics were hilarious (look them up if you don't believe me) and the song appealed to my inner techno enthusiast. After finding more songs of theirs on Pandora, I bought LOL, became completely and entirely hooked, and bought the album "Now You're Gone". On LOL, the lyrics are mostly in Swedish, and this is good if you need to do something while listening. The lyrics are really funny for most of the songs and this is something else that got me hooked. I mean, who else can make a song about a robot in an IRC channel (Boten Anna) that B-A?
The only thing I hate is how many variations on the song "Now You're Gone" there are. That song is OK once, but repeated is a bit excessive. Other than that, a kick-butt album!
