I usually wear the original Lolita Lempicka, so I decided to give this new one a try. I really love it. It is different from the first but just as enjoyable. I don't smell any vanilla in it like some have said, I do smell the aniseed and absinthe a bit which is what gives it an unusual scent. The Lolita Lempicka line is very original, I don't think I can really describe them all that well. But if you get the chance to test it in the store, do it a few different times. When I first bought the original I wasn't sure that I would like it, but after wearing it a few times I realized I loved it. I seem to smell something different from it each time I wear it.

Caution:

Though this did not happen to me, you have to be careful when ordering to click the size you want near the picture at the top of this window. If you don't click a different size like 1oz, 1.7 or 3.4oz you will end up with a tester. So if it costs you 8 dollars or so, you picked the wrong one.

I love Lolita's fragrances except for Coral Flower and Si Lolita. (CF I didn't like, SL I haven't tried yet.) I'm not into cherry scents (as a matter of fact I hate them on general principle.) So now I've learned a good lesson: Never say never. I didn't think I'd ever like a cherry scented perfume but I do this one. Creamy cherry and almonds (sweet - not bitter), vanilla (not listed in the notes but I swear I'm smelling it), and sugary goodness. Test it out first to ensure chemistry, but don't shy away from trying it just from looking at the notes. Buy it! :o)

This is a wonderful perfume, and i love it. it smells fresh and clean like powder, but with something else more exotic.
Everyone that i come in contact with has asked me what im wearing and love it, i was even in a store and had a man comment about how wonderful i smelled. i have 5 sisters and they all love it and can wear it so i think its probably a scent that compliments all. Its a great price here on amazon, and it will last forever. if you want a great french perfume, that is less well known, go with lolita lempicka!
