This is by far and away my favorite foundation. Goes on smooth and does a great job of covering up imperfections. It's relatively inexpensive for the quality of this product.

I have tried many brands before I found this one and I love it. It makes my skin looking smooth, more fresh, not so visible as other foundations I used. It lasts all day long. I'm also using Lorac's oil-free powder as a finishing touch - they go well together ( I have oily T zone) . If you have very visible acne, please remember that NONE of the foundations will help to hide it, better go to doctor. This product does what it says.

I love this foundation. I have periodic breakouts, but this foundation has never aggravated them. The finish is beautiful, lightweight, and natural looking. My skin looks luminous when I wear this, and no other foundation has ever had that effect on my skin. When I first started wearing it, I had several friends ask me what I was doing different because my skin looked so great. Anyway, I have re-ordered it for the third time, and I have never been happy with a foundation for this long before.

I agree with another reviewer this is the first brand I found with shades to match my skin. The coverage is very good, evens out my skintone, but also seems to blend into my skin so it doesn't look like I'm wearing a lot of makeup. I love this product!

I found this formula to be quite chalky so the coverage was very light in some areas and blotchy in others, despite having used a primer. I used the shade M2 and it was very very yellow on me. There are not enough shades to choose from so I think it could be difficult for many people to find a good shade to match. Lorac has some great products, but this is not one of them.

For years, I had been using Bare Minerals. My skin has changed so much lately that it was not providing enough coverage for me. I am very oily, I have a few acne scars and noticeable pores. A specialist at Ulta recomended I try this in an SMS 5, and I love it. I purchased the matching powder to set my foundation, and this has helped my foundation to last all day. Because I'm oily, I have to blot a few times a day and reapply powder. This was a very smooth transition from bare minerals, and I love the way this foundation feels so weightless, and when used with the right make up brush, gives a flawless, airbrushed look. It has not caused me to break out and provides great coverage. I highly recomend this!

This foundation (SMS 5) blends my face skin color, very light and it makes my skin flawless. I really like the container too, 1 bottle takes up to 6 months to finish and I really like the twist dispenser, it is very convenient and easy to use. The only thing I don't like with this foundation is that it makes my face more oily (I already have oily face) in the middle of the day, I just go ahead and blot my face with toilet seat cover :-) but overall I love this foundation.

I, too, am surprised at the negative remarks on this foundation which remains my all-time favorite (with Shiseido's a close second). Smooth, blend-able coverage in a shade light enough for this fair-skinned redhead. Never greasy and never looks like you're wearing foundation. Perfect with Laura Mercier's loose powder. I love the packaging too, which ensures that not a drop goes to waste. I'm a fan of all of the LORAC products.

I bought this because I went to Ulta and told them I have dry skin and I want something that is not powder, so they told me to try this. They color matched it on my cheek, and that was it. So i thought this is great. I went home and I put it on myself.

It makes your face feel stiff,
It gives you this oily look,
like your sweating. which is not pretty whatsoever.
It dries up starts to look really bad after a couple hours.

The only positive thing was the color matched perfect.

...because this is the finest liquid/cream foundation I've ever used. SMS1 is the only color I've found (barring weird ones like Lorac's Oil-Free Neutralizer which is a greeny-yellow shade) that matches my skin. The color goes on beautifully, especially with a Beautyblender, and looks like skin and stays looking great all day long. Love it. I wish they'd make this in the color of the Oil-Free Neutralizer.
