4.0 out of 5 stars A bit greasy, but great for a believable glow
I received Lorac's Tantalizer as a sample when ordering other items from Sephora, and was pleasantly surprised when I tested it out. It goes on a bit pinkish in color at first, almost giving you a sunburnt look, which quickly fades to a soft glow. The consistency is a bit greasy and leaves shimmer/sparkles on your skin, which eventually fades as it soaks in. Take extra...

1.0 out of 5 stars Not for Fair Skin
I bought this after reading the reviews. It is makeup and makes you look like you are wearing makeup on your skin. This does NOT look natural. It has a glitter to it that gets all over everything. This is going right back to Sephora along with the Award Show Glow which is just as bad. I am sticking with my Clarins Self-Tanning Gel. Much more of a natural look than with...

Take extra care to wash your hands and the sink out as soon as you're finished applying--it can stain. Overall, this is a great product that provides a believable and beautiful summer glow. I would recommend this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST HAVE!, January 10, 2012
This review is from: LORAC TANtalizer(R) Body Bronzing Luminizer 5.7 oz (Misc.)
Where has Tantalizer been all my life? I can't believe I just found it!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! I am now in my late 20's and this makes my legs look 18 again! and I am able to go bare legged and feel great about it. It also looks great on shoulders, chest and arms. Covers Imperfections without looking cakey or like makeup, and evens the skin tone. Adds a bit of color, but not as much as self tanner. Very easy to apply and SMELLS delicious like a vanilla cupcake. This should be a part of every woman's beauty arsenal and is one of my favorite finds!! I feel like a celebrity when I wear it ;).

The cost is $32 for a decent sized bottle. Considering I spend $30 for a spray tan that I will have to rub off at the end of the night, I think this is a brilliant purchase! The results are very comparable to a spray tan, and you can rinse it off without having to scrub like crazy. Most importantly it doesn't have the "burnt hair" smell of a spray tan.

5 STARS!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for that strapless dress, January 1, 2012
This review is from: LORAC TANtalizer(R) Body Bronzing Luminizer 5.7 oz (Misc.)
I am very pale, and in the summer I end up with terrible farmers tan. I have used different tanning products to cover this up when I am wearing dresses or sleeveless shirts, but this one is the best. It goes on a smooth, and does take some working into the skin, however that effort pays off but giving me a nice glow. It does not smudge on my clothes, looks natural and washes off easily. Perfect! Minus one star for the price. I buy the sample size at Ulta.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great product - when applied properly, September 8, 2011

This review is from: LORAC TANtalizer(R) Body Bronzing Luminizer 5.7 oz (Misc.)
I have very fair skin that does not tan, and I hate the smell and high maintenance of self-tanning products, so I purchased Tantalizer in hopes that I could get that summer "glow." It took a little trial and error to get it right, and I have now been using it for the whole summer. Pros: it has very little fragrance, is completely non-greasy, stays on all day with no problems, and has a bit of glitter that looks extra summery. Cons: over-priced, takes a bit of practice to apply. Hopefully this review will help you decide if you want to buy it and if so, the best way to use it!

To apply:

1. Use after showering and a few minutes after applying sunscreen or lotion
2. Squirt a pea-sized amount onto your hand, rub your hands together together to distribute, and then smooth onto one leg at a time (or one part of your leg) using light, quick, circular strokes; repeat for arms
3. Apply in smaller amounts to neck, chest and feet (and other exposed areas)
4. Wash hands thoroughly (no soap needed)
5. Allow to dry for about ten minutes before dressing (use this time to make a cup of coffee!)

Important:

Use small amounts of product; a little goes a long way
Only apply to body parts that will be exposed; otherwise it is a waste of product and will temporarily stain your clothing (it comes out in the wash)
Pay extra attention smoothing it out over feet and ankles
Dress only after it dries; otherwise it will rub off and (temporarily) stain clothing
Do not wear if you will be sweating excessively or swimming (it may come off areas that are wet)
Do not apply lotions over product
If you mess up an area, just rub it off with a damp cloth and start over; it gets much easier to apply after a few tries
To protect nightclothes/ sheets, wash it off before bed
Enjoy your sun-free tan!

I've bought this product multiple times. It is a bit pricey but it looks really pretty on, especially if you already have some color. I always get compliments when I use it. Plus, it smells really nice, like sugar cookies, the smell intensifies when its warm. If I go out in really hot weather people will stop me to tell me how good I smell.

Much more of a natural look than with this body makeup. Not worth the money.

1.0 out of 5 stars Gets on everything!, September 13, 2010

I really am disappointed in this product. It makes your legs look nice but only as long as you dont sit on anything or wear anything basically. I have had it on for 4 hours and when i slide my finger down my leg, all the product is all over my finger and bed sheets and my clothes. My sheets are completely covered in it now and all i have been doing is sitting on them barely at all. Plus it makes your legs looks a little too glittery in my opinion. WASTE OF MONEY!

5.0 out of 5 stars love it!, July 28, 2010
This review is from: LORAC TANtalizer(R) Body Bronzing Luminizer 5.7 oz (Misc.)
I use this product everyday! It is so easy to rub in to your face, and looks so natural. There is no brassy orange color to it at all. and a little goes a long way! I bought the little bottle of this which was like $10, I've used it everyday for about 2 months, and I dont think I've even used half the bottle. Trust me, you will love this product!! it does get a little greasy throughout the day, so I make sure to have my powder in my purse. I use this, and then the photo finish powder by Lorac, and it gives me skin this amazing, flawless, tan glow. I LOVE it!! and no, it doesnt say anywhere on the bottle that it can rub off onto your clothes (i've never had a problem) but dont be an idiot like the reviewer below and wear it with some white dress your in love with, and you shouldnt have any problems!

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE THIS PRODUCT, July 24, 2010
I've been using this bronzing mousse for a few weeks now, and I am crazy about TANtalizer. Typically a self-tanner user, I find this much easier to use, not at all tacky or sticky, with a beautiful sheen and a consistency that evens out my skin tone. It dries immediately, has been totally non-staining in my experience, and is virtually water-resistant, much of it staying on my skin even after a soap and water shower. I can see immediately whether coverage is even, which it has been each time. Mostly though my skin looks younger and so even-toned with just a gorgeous sheen. I love it!

1.0 out of 5 stars TANtalizer ruined new dressI, August 5, 2008
This review is from: LORAC TANtalizer(R) Body Bronzing Luminizer 5.7 oz (Misc.)
I liked the look from the sample I got so I bought the product. I read the information on the product carefully but there was no mention of it rubbing off on clothes or of not being waterproof. I applied it according to instructions and waited 20 or so minutes before putting on my new white fitted strapless Dian non Furstenburg dress. When I took the dress off, the entire lower half of the inside of the dress was tan color! I don't know what to do about the dress, but I returned the product ASAP to Sephora (who bears no blame in this but will if they sell it again. I showed them the dress.)
