I only like this type of chair for the beach: it's light weight, thus easy to carry, and it sits low on the sand. The canvas material makes it sturdy, hopefully lasting longer than the plastic seating that is more readily available from other companies. The material is stiff but should ease up with wear. If you are in the market for this particular kind of beach chair, I'd recommend it highly.
