This has to be my favorite personal care product that I have ever purchased. It goes on as smooth as butter, doesn't leave a greasy residue and calms and relaxes my face. The smell of it is also wonderful and it lasts and lasts. If I shave at 7am, I can still smell it at lunch time, which is great because I love the smell so much. Most after shaves I have only lasts maybe an hour at the most. You will not regret this.

I have bought this for my husband for the last two years. I love the smell. I was surprised to see the bad reviews on the scent because it is outdoorsy (juniper)but not too strong. My husband likes the smoothness of this balm. I definetly recommend it.

I'm a bit of a shave geek and have tried many of the balms on the market. I love the Art of Shaving products, but the L'Occitane balm his head and shoulders above anything I've used. It seems a bit expensive at first blush, but it only takes a dab to cover your face and neck. It is very soothing to your skin after shaving at it smells GREAT.

The skin under my chin and on my neck is pretty sensitive to the effects of shaving. I've always tried to minimize the redness and soreness immediately after shaving. So far, I've liked the way this balm has felt the best. It's milky and cooling, and it's got a very nice, original scent. It leaves my face soft and silky all day long. I've recently found it even better to first apply the Cade Aftershave Splash, then follow it up with this balm - a very nice experience in the morning.

I really like this balm in the winter... it's a very thick balm and just a dab will cover my entire face. The last tube I got lasted well over a year of almost daily use. I think you can do the same as long as are conservative with it and don't squeeze it out like toothpaste. I also use a thinner lotion in the summer months because my skin doesn't need as much moisture.

I like the juniper scent and my girlfriend chose this scent over their lavender scent at one of the L'Occitane stores (but she liked both). Juniper oil is one of the ingredients that make this balm an extremely effective moisturizer. I took off one star for the price (this stuff is expensive) plus the fact that the aluminum tube gets easily mis-shapen and looks quite ugly toward the end of the tube.

My husband says this is the best of its kind! He loves it!

This stuff is great for your skin. The downfall is that you smell like a juniper forest. The scent was a little too much for me.

It seems to be an effective balm per se, but the smell is unbearable. You will get nauseated and possibly brain-damaged.
