I've used this product for over 14 years. I use it twice a day, everyday. My skin has been very dry since I've
had an autoimmune disorder that cause my skin to be red and dry. One of the Dermatologists I saw at Johns Hopkins told me about it. Then I saw it on QVC when I happened to pass by the channel one day. That was my first purchse of this cream. Since then, I've purchased it from L'Occitane,Sephora,Amazon or on the Q. I love when I can get the large, double size,jars. But they're only availasble a few times a year. This cream is the deepest, most long lasting moisturizer for the body I've ever used. I'd tried many, many different creams prior to finding this one. The price is more than fair for the value recieved. A little goes a long way. My skin drinks it in and it leaves no sticky residue. Also, my skin is very sensitive, and this cream does not irritate my skin in any way. In fact it's very soothing. If you're on the fence asbout spending $39 for 7 ounces, please just try one jar. If you have dry skin, this product is a miracle worker. I am not one of those people who goes out of her way to buy expensive brand cosmetics, but I am a BIG FAN a L'Occitane. I always tell people to buy me the shea butter body cream, the shea butter hand cream, or the soap if they're planning to get me a gift.

I was introduced to this cream by a friend and found that it is just incredible while not being at all greasy. I always avoided shea butter products as they were greasy and took forever to absorb, but this body cream has none of those issues! As a matter of fact I use it for my facial cream and it makes my skin very soft! Highly reccomended!

This cream does what it promises; it works on severely dry skin and works WELL. It is ultra-rich, 25% shea butter, and the smell is pleasant, although I generally prefer fragrance-free creams. My skin is so dry that my legs actually hurt if I don't use body cream. This cream is rich, and soaks in to the skin rapidly without leaving a greasy sheen. I used it only after a shower.

The only drawback is the price. At $39, you can buy a lot of Aveeno or similar drugstore body creams. But it is a large tub at 7 full ounces, and some buyers really love L'Occitane.

Conclusion: It WORKS, and it smells very nice. If you can afford it, go for it.

This is the richest, creamiest, most luxurious body cream I've ever used. An excellent product for regular and dry skin and has a nice but subtle fragrance. Leaves skin moisturized but not greasy or slick. The fact that it is so great is also reflected in the price, unfortunately.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas. We are both fans of L'Occitane and use a number of their products including the Shea Butter Hand Cream. This winter has been extremely dry and despite running a humidifier non stop our skin is still very dry. This definitely remedies that. It is certainly one of the better creams that I have used in rehydrating skin. The one complaint I have is I was not that fond of the smell. While there isn't much of an odor to it, the odor it does give is not especially pleasing to me. My wife added a drop or two of some perfume/oil she bought and it makes it much better. Bottom line, I would try a bit of it at a store to make sure the smell agrees with you before purchasing.

I was given this product from my sister-in-law as I was suffering from very dry skin & itchnesses on my belly due to pregnancy and out of all the creams that I have tried and tested this one was my life saver!!! From now on this will be the only cream that I will use as it really keeps your skin moist!!

It is seldom that I will buy a refill of the same beauty product unless I really like it. Well, the L'Occitane Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream is a product I don't ever want to be without...especially during harsh and dry winter months.

The consistency of this cream is thick and cool to the touch. It's a wonderful body cream, but I especially like using it on my feet, hands, chest and elbows. This entire winter, I have had the softest feet and heels and I have to give credit where it's due. The 7 ounce tub lasts a long time and is well worth the money. Amazon.com offers it at a very competitive price and with free shipping, it's a bargain!

Love the L'Occitane Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream! I started using this on my arms and have gradually used it on areas--legs, feet, etc. It goes on smoothly without feeling greasy. In the period of time that I did not have any, I really noticed a difference in my skin. Now that I have a new supply, I am a happy camper!

This body cream is the best I have ever used. I have very dry skin in the winter and have tried every brand on the market. I use this on damp skin right out if the shower and its fabulous. Soaks right in and leaves a soft scent. I use this on my neck and hands everyday too. Just the right amount of Shea butter. Not greasy at all. You won't be disappointed!
