I first came across this product in a Four Seasons hotel. It was so good that I brought several home.

This is a hard-milled verbena (lemon scent) soap that rinses away cleanly and does not soften in the soap dish. As a result, a bar of it lasts longer than other soaps. And you come away feeling (and smelling) clean.

At 8.8 ounces (over half a pound) the bar is larger than the average bath/shower soap, which also helps it to last longer. If you'd prefer smaller bars, buy L`Occitane - Shea Butter Extra Gentle Soap Verbena (Set of 2)

I actually buy this soap for my husband. He likes the lemon scent. The bar is large and does not melt away in the shower like other soaps. You will be happy with quality.

One of my frineds recommended it that this soap was really good for oily skin. My husband is oily-skinned and he loves it. At first, I thought its price was little high. However, this soap is very big and I guess I can use it for several months.

I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel twice for work, and they would put out small bars of this. I brought several home, and a year later, I'm still using the 3 small bars and 2 large bars (100 grams or 3.5 oz) I brought. They last forever, smell divine, clean well, and don't get mushy. I've almost run out, so am buying them online, and they are not cheap, but considering how long they lasted me, I'd say it's worth it.

This is the only soap the sensitive skin in this household will allow on its collective skin. And it's been so for several years. The fragrance is pleasant, but is really only for the shower or bath, as it doesn't last past towelling. It's not drying like other 'pure soaps', although I wouldn't try carrying on with the day without some sort of body lotion.

I love a lot of L'Occitane products, but this is one of the few items that I feel is reasonably priced. This has also really helped my skin in the past when I was having dermatitis issues. While I love the quality and the feel of the light lather, the smell has to be my favorite thing. It's bliss in a bar.

I prefer to use the shower gel, but opted to buy this again due to being low on cash (although it's just as great, if not better, the gel is another 10 bucks more), and I knew this would last me several months. Great product, lasts a long time and I think bar-lovers will really appreciate it.

We became aware of this barsoap on board ship. Not only does it have an acceptable (not overpowering) fragrence, it stays together as a bar and islong-lasting.

this is the only soap i use. love the smell and it lasts for months. i order it online because there is not a L'Occitane store close by.

Bought one bar which lasted from Dec. to June as a hand and face bar. The second bar seems to melt and leave melted soap residue in the soap dish. Began using it on June 30th and it is half gone. Will try one more to see how long it lasts as I love eveything about it.

I am quite a soap conniseur sp?? of verbena, or vitiver scent. This is the best one, and the one that lasts the longest on your skin. I wonder why they do not have it? You cannot find a better soap, if this is your favorite scent, as it is mine.
