NOT Paraben-Free,
By bkfist (Iowa, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: LOccitane Repairing Hair Conditioner (Misc.)
Indications says:
Can be used for the following skin conditions: Hair Care, Paraben-Free, Bath Ingredients: ... Methyl, Butyl, Ethyl, Propyl, Isobutylparaben, To top it off, in trying to hide the paraben content, instead of listing the ingredients as Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben, they list it in the shorter notation so that one might "miss" the paraben content when looking over the ingredient list. I don't think it's L'Occitane trying to hide this, it's the description either entered by Amazon, or by the seller.

Smells and not as silky as their daily use conditioner,
By ponto "borabora" (Carlsbad, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: L'Occitane Après-Shampooing Rèparateur (Repairing Conditioner for Dry & Damaged Hair), 8.4-Ounce Bottle (Misc.)
This has a strong perfume scent which I do not like. I like their citrus verbena daily use scent as well as their Verveine (rarely in stock) scent on their daily use conditioner.
I didn't find this one as silky as their daily use conditioner at first but I increased my rating on it because I think the daily use makes my hair feel silky when wet while this one makes it feel soft when dry, which is nice.

Works GREAT, smells kind of perfumey and strong,

I really like a lot of L'Occitane's stuff; when I'm not using L'Occitane I am using Lush, which also uses a lot of natural ingredients. I usually use Lush haircare.
When I got this in a gift, I was excited to try it out, since my hair had been tangly since the start of winter. Well, it worked brilliantly! My hair was detangled, soft and shiny. But unfortunately, the scent lingered even after DAYS of shampooing and conditioning with something else! The scent was so strong that it gave me a headache, and it didn't smell like straight essential oils to me - it smelled WAY stronger, and even slightly masculine. I'll give it no stars for the scent and five for its effectiveness. If you can, smell before you buy, because it works great, if you can hang with the scent. 2115|R302BZUFQGZ7AO;2115|R1CB0WB8O52FFC;2115|RVTZCODWXQSHU;
