I loved the pink color, it's a very deep pink, almost red.

I dyed my hair about 9 weeks ago, and although the color has faded to a deep burgundy, it is still very noticeable and has retained a lovely shine.

It seems to last longer than most other red dyes and it goes on pretty easy.

Just for reference, the photo shown is NOT the fuschia color. Fuschia comes in a bright pinkish-purple (ie, fuschia) box and leaves the same color in your hair. I have very long, naturally dark brown hair. You get a ton of color in the box for highlighting (not an all-over color, though if you have short hair you could probably get away with that). The wand is a little tough with long curly hair as it can get tangled if you're not careful.

Make sure when applying that you put enough on that you can SEE the color on your hair strands. If you can't see the color, there's not enough on and you might not get a bright result. It's pretty good at not "spreading" when you put the strand down on your head to move to another part.

Even after the color washes out, you're left with some nice highlights. Much better for your hair than bleaching pieces out and putting in temporary dyes. It's also much easier since it's done in one step, not a messy bleach-then-color job. Also less messy "after-math" - you don't generally leave anything "colorful" (like walls, pillowcases, the back of your shirt, etc.) unless you didn't wash the color out well. I will also say, if you get any on your skin while coloring (especially this color, and especially on your face), stop immediately and scrub it off with some shampoo on a rag - otherwise you will end up with a splotch for a day or so.

For me personally, the fuschia color seems to last for maybe two weeks - after that it fades pretty quickly, but like I said, I'm left with some "regular" highlights when it's gone. I've used this multiple times and will definitely use it again!

Being born with naturally black hair, I always try and fail to add bright flashes of color to my hair. This is the first product that has actually worked!!

Pros:
Easy to use
Good on dark hair
Bright!

Cons:
Fades quickly
Drying

I've used this product thrice now, twice in fuchsia and once in red. For some background info, I'm Asian with black hair that is coarse and dry(ish). I've only used this stuff for streaking, and leaving it in for a little longer than instructed leaves me with bright streaks. Just make sure you don't skimp on the amount on each strand, as that might compromise the brightness. I used a lot on my hair.

Also, I don't really want to go through the hassle of bleaching and then dyeing my hair, and Colour Rays is great for people like me.

That being said, it does fade. I don't use color-safe shampoo and conditioner, so that might be part of the problem, but the bright color faded after about a month. However, some color still stays. I used the red right before Christmas, I think, and right now I'm looking at it and it's a medium red with a hint of orange, depending on the lighting.

I've also noticed more split ends than usual, not to the point where I need to get a trim, but enough to distract me.

Final thoughts: I think this works best on people with more porous hair, as the color lingers longer. Use color-safe hair products and moisturizing conditioner or hair mask or hair treatment for the ends, and you should be good.

Color Name: Fuschia Flash Verified Purchase
This is the first hair dye I ever used, and it's amazing stuff. It's really easy to apply and doesn't have an overbearing odor. I love the fact that I don't have to bleach my hair before using Colour Rays. I have really dark, coarse hair, and in just thirty minutes the color took, and the fuschia came out a beautiful, bright raspberry shade! It seems to work with my hair's natural shine, and actually shines in the sun, so my hair doesn't look like a cheap wig. Colour Rays didn't dry my hair out either.
I dyed my hair about 9 weeks ago, and although the color has faded to a deep burgundy, it is still very noticeable and has retained a lovely shine. Since I wash my hair every day, I'm impressed that the color stayed in for so long.
I have a few stay gray hairs, and this dye did absolutely nothing to them, so if you have a lot of gray, don't bother getting Colour Rays. You'll just be wasting your money.
This is a great product, and I highly recommend it!

I have used this product several times, and it definately scores high marks for easy and effective. I must note, that (on me at least), the color was more of a bright pink (please see the customer photo that I uploaded). Also, if you are going to use this or any product that lifts (bleaches) the hair, you really need to spend some extra money on professional shampoos, conditioners, and leave in oils/treatments. If you use cheap products, you may never get the protien and shine back into your hair. Your hair CAN recover from color treatments like this, just don't expect to repair it with any product available at the grocery store, or big blue chain stores (you know who I'm talking about).......I highly suggest these Fekkai products in terms of repair Fekkai Technician Color Care Starter Kit

Color Name: Red Rays
I started dyeing my bangs a while back and this is what I've always used. I loved it since all you had to do was mix the colour developer and colour , brush the dye into your hair, wait 30 minutes and wash it out. It also comes with a shampoo/conditioner so my bangs don't dry out and frizz.
But recently I needed to re-dye my bangs since after about 4-5 weeks the colour fades and my roots stick out, but I wasn't able to buy colour rays and had to buy Splat hair dye instead. Splat comes with bleach and colour, the bleach is hard to mix since all they give you is a bottle to shake, you have to sit 30 minutes (if you have dark hair like me) and then wash it out. After your hair dries, you then apply the colour. It's more of a gel and will drip every where if your not careful. Then you have to wait 30 MORE minutes for that to seep in. After the times up you go and wash the colour out until the water runs clear.
Splat gives a nice colour, but it's not significantly different from colour rays. Colour rays is a lot faster and cleaner.
In the end my bangs are red again, but they are dried out, my bathrooms a mess, and I'm annoyed.
Stick with colour rays, it's fast and easier than using splat.
