I had read a review on here where someone said this lip color was great for those with yellow skin tones and it was dark and not too bright of a red...which was the whole reason I bought it. I loooove red lipstick. I've bought them in almost every brand and department store. And it is hard to find a deep red that isn't to bright and unflattering for those with olive complexions. But when I received this the color looks different then in the picture. Its a bright bright red. I figured well it might look different on...Nope its bright bright red on too....almost to the point of looking like a red Crayola marker. The texture is very hard too. It almost feels plastic, like you need to warm it up with your hands in order to get a smooth application. If you're looking for a good red from a drug store I would recommend the Maybelline Color Sensational lip color in Red Revival. So much better than this. I honestly don't even think this is from L'Oreal...The signature is hardly recognizable...doesn't look like it says her name at all. And there is not a brand name on here anywhere. All it says is Red on a sticker on the bottom.

I bought this in Kerry's Rosewood and I am in love. The shade is perfect for any skin tone and looks great on everyone. It is a shimmery peachish pinkish that isn't too bright or too drab, just right! It is perfect to wear to work because it looks natural but still gives off a shimmery pink hue, without looking too done up. It is a few shades off from my natural lip color, so it looks amazing with any other color combination I match with it. Stays on forever and looks amazing. Lips stay soft and smooth and the color doesn't run off my lips either. Love it!!!

The Evangeline's Red color looks great on light tan/olive skin. It's the perfect shade of red because it gives a great red color without being obnoxious or too bold of a red color. This is a great lipcolor to have, and the seller sent it promptly and in perfect condition. I'm very satisfied with this purchase :)
