It also left a weird coating on my hair in the shower.

This is THE WORST frizz product I have ever used, not only does it dry out my hair, it also adds MORE frizz, probably because my hair is now the texture of straw.

One of those situations where I kept saying "ow ow ow ow" as I tried to work it through my hair.

I knew this was good stuff immediately after pouring it into my hand. I have frizzy/curly hair and keep the frizz half of that under control is a nuisance to say the least. Every time there's a new product out with big promises, I sort of roll my eyes, been there done that. BUT the kertain in this product intrigued me, I've heard the hype about it and most shampoos that boast this stuff is really expensive. I know that this stuff can be used to 'straighten' hair, but lets be honest, nothing in a bottle is going to make curly hair go straight over night. I just thought it would help control my frizz. Which it did the first few uses, you need to be careful not to overuse keratin as it can build protein and have the opposite effect on hair. If used too often it will strip your hair and leave it very dry, thus creating more frizz. Try not to use it for weeks on end, and switch it up every now and then, or think of this as a treat for your hair. I recommend this product especially for girls with thicker hair because it doesn't weigh it down at all. I also love the rich texture of the product and you can feel it smoothing out your hair in the shower. I've also found, after using this product, my hair is much easier to brush out, which can be a painful experience if the wrong products are used.

Ok. I think I used the shampoo once because after that, I got a keratin smoothing treatment done on my hair and the number 1 no-no with keratin treatments is that you have to use non-sulfate products. Mostly only shampoos have sulfates in them so I don't even understand why they would make a shampoo with keratin in it. Sounds like the sulfates in this would just would just counteract the keratin completely!
I do, however love love love the conditioner so my best bet would be to find a sulfate-free shampoo (I think L'Oreal even makes one) and use that in conjunction with the conditioner. That might be why everyone is complaining about dry knotty hair. Salt aka sulfate dries hair out which keeps the oleo-

Nope. I used the shampoo, conditioner and styling cream and my hair felt disgusting. The shampoo made it feel sticky and knotty. Cant even begin to tell you how painful it was to run my fingers through before using the conditioner. The conditioner did little to help the sticky tangled feeling. I hoped that the styling cream would make a difference but it felt sticky and knotty too. One of those situations where I kept saying "ow ow ow ow" as I tried to work it through my hair. I have very thick curly hair so knots are nothing new. This felt like using the dreaded White Rain conditioner.

I have very long, thick, dry, color damaged hair which also frizzes very easily. This product is amazing. I normally use Paul Mitchell or Matrix, but it does not help control the frizz. As soon as I put it on my hair in the shower, I could feel the deep conditioner as I could glide my fingers through my hair. The price at Walmart BTW is even cheaper. I am so surprised at the low price and the great results. I have no idea how anyone can give this conditioner a bad review. My hair looks great, the frizz is just about gone, and the moisture is deep. Ignore the bad reviews and try it, it is cheap so if you don't like it you didn't invest much, but if you like it, well you will probably love it and run to Walmart like I did, and buy a whole bunch, or order right here at Amazon.

I know everyone's body, hair, or skin is different, but this conditioner totally missed the mark. It was not at all an anti-frizz product. It also left a weird coating on my hair in the shower. Even after rinsing continuously for at least 5 minutes. I could live with that if it actually worked, but not only did it not work - it left me with an extremely dry scalp and little scaly patches. It's normal for me to get a slightly dry scalp in the winter, but this wasn't normal. I really thought I had some sort of fungal or bacterial infection until I realized the only new product in my bathroom was this. Three washes later without it and my hair and scalp are fine. There really are better quality products that are a better value out there.
