5.0 out of 5 stars Great new musician!
I thought Landon sounded like a young John Lennon too! and told him so at a recent show. Its just something about how his voice moves! I met Landon and his bass player, and they are both so sweet! I am a middle-aged grandmother, but I have found a new favorite, and so has my daughter! And I agree, that you will not be disappointed with this music; just really down to...

2.0 out of 5 stars He's okay!
I heard the acoustic guitars and electric pop fun and assumed this would be an artist right up my alley. After his first song Can't Let Go, you feel "eh, alright this guy's got some potential." But, after "Last Stop", you start to feel that something's missing. That's what takes place over the rest of the album. He's a 3 trick pony. Open the mind of any young twenties...

This is a pretty good album. Some quality rock/pop tunes without being cheesy. I'm surprised nobody else has put up a review yet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Landon Pigg, January 27, 2008
This review is from: LP (Audio CD)
Landon comes through as an old soul with a new twist. I find myself fast forwarding to his music on my Ipod. I'm really surprised that he isn't topping the charts and well known by now. His voice is smooth and soothing. His music is gratifying when you are feeling down, or feeling good. He is that versatile!

I also love the Diamond commercial you sang for TV during the holidays!

Good Luck Landon!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Pure, pleasing pop., August 22, 2006
This review is from: LP (Audio CD)
I really enjoy this album. Landon has a wonderful voice and is a very good songwriter. His songs are quirky and sweet without being weird. My personal favorites are "Sailed On," "Tinman," and "Can't Let Go." If you want to hear earnest, well-written music from a truly talented musician, check out LP. You won't regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Landon Pigg is an incredible young artist!, December 30, 2006
This review is from: LP (Audio CD)
Landon Pigg's music/lyrics are thoughtful and personal. His artwork on the insert of his CD is amazing!

From his song "Can't Let Go" -

Well you're the closest thing I have

To bring up in a conversation

About a love that didn't last

But I could never call you mine

Cause I could never call myself yours

And if we were really meant to be

Well then we justify destiny

Its not that our love died

Just never really bloomed

Well I cant let go

No, I can't let go of you

Youre holding me back without even trying to.

I cant let go

I cant move on from the past

Without lifting a finger youre holding me back.

And then we saw our paths diverge

And I guess I felt OK about it.

Until you got with another man,

And then I couldnt understand

Why it bothered me so.

How we didnt die we just

Never had a chance to grow.

I cant let go

No, I cant let go of you

Youre holding me back without even trying to.

I cant let go

I cant move on from the past.

Without lifting a finger youre holding me back.

And it might not make much sense

To you or any of my friends

Though somehow still you affect the

Things I do.

And you cant lose what you never had

I dont understand why I feel sad

Every time I see you out with someone new.

I cant let go

No, I cant let go

No, I cant let go of you.

I cant let go

No, I cant let go of you

Youre holding me back without even trying to.

I cant let go

I cant move on from the past

Without lifting a finger youre holding me back.

Landon Pigg is one of my favorite new artists!

4.0 out of 5 stars Most underrated 20-something singer/songwriter, June 27, 2011
By
This review is from: Lp (Audio CD)
Landon is a very classy writer and singer. I feel a lot of driven and talented young singer/songwriters are striving towards what Landon is actually achieving! It's pop, but it's extremely melodic, touching and insightful. It's surprising to me his name hasn't become more household with an album like this, already four years old. I can only assume he's mostly raking in the dough from having a song play as the ending credits to Shrek roll! Not to mention the two or more commercials "Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop" was used for. You go boy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well crafted pop, October 12, 2008

Several Pigg tunes were playing on Sirius this morning in my local coffee shop. With each one, I thought "who is this? It's really cool". Finally Great Companion came on and I just had to make the trek back to the counter to ask who it was. Feels like an over-the-top pop version of Radiohead without the interesting noises. Great CD, in any case. Listen a couple of times before you dismiss it.

5.0 out of 5 stars very enjoyable effort, May 29, 2008
This review is from: LP (Audio CD)
From beginning to end "LP" works well for Landon and the listener as well. It breezes through with each track as refresshing and honest as the previous one. If folks are wondering whether or not to get this cd...don't wonder any longer. Pick up "LP" by Landon Pigg it's more than worth the price your paying for it in the long run.
