I bought this as an emergency light, left it in kitchen, plugged in after testing it. A few months later, I tried it and it no longer worked. Too late to return it and I cannot contact MFG for exchange. Apparently, quality is not so great on these. Cannot recommend it

Tested upon purchase. Light and flashlight worked fine. Left plugged in. A month later light does not work.

This unit has some nice features but only worked for 3 days. What good are the features if it doesn't work?

these were just what i was looking for in my house... If and when power is lost you no how hard it is to find a flashlight... and see in a dark house... this light was perfect for our needs... and i will be buying more... for my house and gifts i feel its a must in any home...

This is a nice looking product that works great. I keep one in the baby room as a night light that turns on automatically when the lights are off and one in the bed room to manually turn on to get around the room without waking my wife. The unit is able to rotate so that the other socket can still be used or cover the socket when not needed. The LED lights on each end can be turned outward for more directional lighting which is a pretty nice feature. Also a good buy for an emergency light in the main areas of the house as well. I had to return one of the lights for reasons that I am not quite sure of. It quit working after a month of use. I got a free replacement and haven't had a problems for about 4 months now.

Purchased this light for an interior stairway night light/emergency light. A little quirky design but OK. Worked fine for about 1 year. Then it died. No way to fix or repair. Another disposable item for the landfill:(. I think I will stick with a traditional night light which lasts for years, cost less, and has replaceable bulbs. Recap: A generally good product with poor quality construction.

Bought 4 units to usa as emergency lights for the house. Three of them failed in 2 weeks timeframe. They simply stopped charging the battery while connected to the outlet. The last one failed 1 week later. Not worth a penny.

This thing is a cheap effective emergency light. I was concerned about how bright it would be but was surprised to find it was VERY bright.

It would be nice if there was an adjustment for the brightness level but overall a great product.

This is a very bright LED nightlight, that will automatically turn into a flashlight/area light when the power goes out or the unit is unplugged. It also has a manual setting for use as a flashlight. I really like it and it is bright enough that I don't have to turn on the light when entering a room at night unless I really have to do something detailed.

My only, very small, complaint is that there are two banks of LED lights, one on top and one on the bottom and while you can have just one on in the manual mode, you have to have both ends blazing away in AUTO mode. In many spaces, just one of the banks of lights would be more than adequate and cut power use in half when functioning as a night light in AUTO mode.
