This unit could fill a great need to light art work wirelessly, but, the light is not bright enough for anything but a small frame 11 X 14 or less.
It looks great and is easy to install, but the off / on switch is on the light, so you will need to always have access to it. (Don't mount it very high)
It will need to be taken down often to change the batteries since they will only last about 12 to 20 hours.

I have lots of images and art that I want lights for, but I would not purchase another one of these.

The light was exactly as described, light weight, easy to install. The LED lights are adequate but you should consider the size of your art work you wish to be illuminated as surface area coverage tends to best be suited for small to medium art work. As the on/off switch is on the side of the LED light bar, you will also need to consider your ability to activate the switch once it has been installed above your art work. My personal placement of a painting is above a firplace mantel and requires a stepping stool for me to switch it on/off. None the less, I still prefer this battery operated unit to having electrical wires cluttering the display appearance. Overall, I am very happy with the light and you can not beat the price.

This light exceeded my expectations. The light is beautiful and would compliment any home. The metal finish gives it the appearance of a "high-end" expensive light. The LED's are a whiter hue which gives off a cooler light color (not yellow, so if you're looking for a warm light this is not the light for you). The light includes a screw bracket which is extremely easy to mount & even easier to slide off when the batteries need to be changed. I've only had the light for a few weeks, but the light seems to run for a good amount of time on one set of batteries. I'm very happy with this purchase.

This looks nice and goes up easily. It just doesn't do the job it was designed for very well. The 'super-bright' LED's are not bright enough to illuminate a small, perhaps 14" by 24" woodblock print. It would likely do an 8x10 photo OK, but it's 14 inches wide itself. Overall quite disappointing.

This item arrived just as described. Seems to work well- lights may not be as bright as conventional bulbs, but for a wireless set up, it is totally acceptble.

I was looking for a wireless option to put over a new picture I bought. I found this one on Amazon for about $20. This works perfectly and actually makes the whole dining room look better. I like to dim the living room light and turn this on when I have company. Creates a nice ambiance. I highly recommend.

Rccently ordered this of this item to highlight an approx 19"x36" framed art piece. The light is wonderful. It illiminates the entire picture and I love the fact there are not any unsightly cords dangling behind/near the artwork. I would definitely order this item again- especially also because of its reasonable price.

This light looks nice and can be nice for occasional use. I have it hanging over a small print in the bathroom--predominantly blue so the cool tone is fine. I'd hoped to use it as a night light but the batteries don't last so long.

It would be better if the light included a timer. If I forget to turn it off in the morning, the batteries are dead within a couple days. I am a big fan of rechargeables but those last just one evening. I have many LED candles in the house and they last a few weeks on one set of AA rechargeables.

So...I'll just keep the picture light in the bathroom and turn it on when company comes over. Not a total waste but I would not buy this again. :(

innovative and well made, though plastic. easy to install. the light might be a bit dim in some situations, but works fine in a darker room such as we have. the light color is cold - works great with a b/w photo; may not with warm colors.

Small, wireless and non-descript looking, this thing casts the ugliest dim light over your artwork, or I should say, a portion of your artwork. It won't cover much and it's an ugly color of light. If you love something enough to want to spotlight it, you should spend a few extra dollars and get a nice one. This isn't it.
