First off this item is well worth the price just in cameras alone.
It comes with four night vision cameras, 60 feet of wire, mounting hardware and camera mounts for each camera.
The cameras work well and the infrared LEDs provide enough illumination for the job.
The DVR on the other hand has a flaw that I have seen in other reviews.
It will lock up or the screen will go blank occasionally. (About once or twice every 24 hours but not always.)
By stopping the recording and restarting it will work fine for another day. Power cycling will also work, as the DVR will reboot to the record mode if it was recording when the power was interrupted. I work around this by putting a lamp timer on the DVRs power cord and I have it power cycle twice a day.
The DVR comes with a hard drive already installed so no need to buy one.
I have not yet connected this unit to the Internet for remote viewing and don't know how that feature performs.

I owned this unit with 4 cameras for almost a year now. I am not too happy with it. First, the hard drive stop recording almost once a week. i have to reboot the dvr in order to make it work again. If you leave the unit alone and not checking it frequently. you probably will not have your recordings when you need to review the recordings because the hard drive freezes. Second, the set up for internet remote view is extremely hard. I have not figured it out yet after many tries over the year. There are lack of instructions. The piece software comes with it is a piece of crap. I am never able to make it to work. These are the two major problems i have encountered. I will not recommend to anyone.
