I had to stop buying these, for my body's sake. It's just not OK to eat two boxes of cookies a day. I now buy worse cookies than these, and I am much healthier.

The Le Petit Ecolier (the little schoolboy) cookie is perhaps the greatest cookie commercially produced. It is a crunchy biscuit covered with a thick, delicious layer of milk chocolate. A great afternoon snack, especially when paired with a steaming hot cup of coffee, young and old will enjoy this little bit of "heaven".

I love a good cookie, and this is very much a good cookie. Created by Lefevre Utile, a French Company that has been making cookies since 1846 (now owned by Kraft Foods), it is very much in the mode of European cookies/biscuits. The cookie itself tastes like a delicious shortbread, while the chocolate is quite excellent, and makes the cookie a real treat.

Yeah, I really like this cookie, but I have one problem with it...should I eat it frozen or at room temperature? Sometimes I prefer it one way and sometimes the other. Ah well, a cookie could have worse problems. Buy it today and decide for yourself!

My wife and I discovered the Petit Écolier cookies ("biscuits" to a European) a couple of years ago. Imported from France, these buttery, chocolaty cookies are sinfully decadent, and we love them. A couple of times a month, we'll open a box and indulge our sweet tooth while watching a movie on TV. It doesn't get much better than that for chocolate lovers.

The current Amazon price for six boxes is a bargain compared to the $3.99 a box at our local supermarket. I wish I could order a case from Amazon, but as hot as it is here in the South for most of the year, the chocolate would melt long before the cookies reached our doorstep.

The Petit Écolier cookies are the perfect marriage of milk chocolate and rich, buttery cookies, producing a sinfully decadent treat.

I really like these cookies and the price was a good enough reason to prefer to buy them on amazon rather than on safeway. However, shipping is rough on them, most of them were craked and had signs of damage.

Buy one in the supermarket then throw it down the stairs. Thats what to expect.

Lord knows I don't put these cookies in the employee breakroom!! The price was excellent when I ordered... but the latest pricing is no better thatn what they charge at my local grocery store. Half price - GOOD. Full retail - BAD.

I usually hate packaged cookies, or "biscuits" but these are really delicious. They do have butter in them, and fat, but I splurge occasionally because they are a special treat. The milk chocolate is thick and creamy. Mine arrived in a heat wave in August and weren't melted. Whew.

The price here is also better than I can get in local stores.
Would recommend.

Really tasty. The chocolate is good quality; it melts against the roof of my mouth without feeling grainy or greasy the way chocolate in most commercial baked goods does. I take a few boxes into the office when I'm feeling generous. They're always a hit.

Recent experiment: I left a plate of these out for my office mates next to a plate of Girl Scout Thin Mints. These went first.
