"Luciferian Goetia" is an excellent example of one individual's take on the Goetia. While I wouldn't pattern ALL my workings around just this one grimoire, I would heartily recommend it for anyone interested in the subject.

One of the many issues I have with "traditional" Goetic workings/ grimoires/ etc is the heavily Christian bias they have. You start the Working out with an adversarial, "you are my enemy, you will do as I command or else you will be punished" attitude. It's no wonder such workings often backfire completely, especially when performed by novice magicians.

Luciferian Goetia offers more of a dialogue for negotiations with our Shadow aspects as opposed to tyrannising and conquering them.

Michael Ford creates unique and original Grimoires. This version of the Goetia is another orginal creation, Ford provides unsual insites into the Offices of the Geotia Demons that are very useful for conjurations. In addition, there is an interesting formula for conjuring Lucifer and Lilith which I personally have found very useful.

This book is not worth the money for what you get. About 72 pgs are the names and extremely basic descriptions of different demons (doesn't fill the entire page, a paragraph on each page of each demon). That leaves 30 or so pages left with dry info; a bit of this and that "essay" approach to what Luciferianism and Satanism etc are. Included are a handful-if even-sample rituals with I "think" are taken from his other works/books.

If you are hoping for a ritual workbook and or amazing goetia full of useful information to better supplement your path, this is not it. I learned nothing and skimmed through it in about 30 minutes. I'd recommend if sticking with Michael W Ford, obtain "Book of the Witch Moon". That gives a broader sense of things and more rituals/techniques than this one. It helps wet the appetite to learn more. It's still not an amazing book, but gave me a start to progress.

Note: All his books are poorly edited, this is no exception. For the beginner or advanced, does not matter....this book gave me nothing useful; it was returned.

I didn't realize just how thin this volume was when I purchased it - it isn't even the thickness of a standard paperback. However, after skimming through it it appears to have some weight to it if you will. While I don't agree with all of Ford's views, at least he makes the effort to provide his readers with the right information. Still ... if you can get your hands on a copy for less than $10, please do so.

this book was a real eye opener at how satanism is an effective tool to expand awareness and bring powerfull meaning to the user. those of us that are inclined toword the LHP natuarlly, but do not use it for fear of Gods Punishment should stick to Christianity. If you practice the occult and are dark minded you should give this book a look. for me there is a great source of power in satan. even If I Dont believe it I can still use it as a tool because for me. the unconscious and dreaming mind is naturally dark and when I use this system I am not fighting against it but tapping into that source of power that is otherwise not used.
Thanks so much Michael Ford, I hope to get some of you other books in the future. Im kicking myself at how many hermetics books and golden books I have gone through before I found you. You are A true master And have brought a synthesis of Chaos and Magick to the light!

I stumbled upon this in the library and stayed studying it for a couple hours and decided I'd give in and buy it, I recamend.

I am an Herbs user but I can take in alot of lucid thought processes.
this book is artstic and stealthy. I keep it in good condition although I am afraid if I am not careful it might turn into a dishevled vieny & creased, mess.

all my other stuff is so Mint and scalple sharp! o_0?

I even made a flag for my children in there fort. it looks so electro-hyper dimensional, and it promotes a peacful atmosphere for them!!
