The cover is modern, but the contents are a facimile of the 1917 Berlin operator's Handbook for the Langen Pistole 08. It is written in the Gothic script of the period with illustrations in the back of the publication. It is worth having if one has an LP 08, or if you are interested in the Great War, or Lugers in general. Contents include loading, unloading, cleaning the LP 08 and changing the drum magazine.
