We had been trying to use a music box to play music to get the baby to go to sleep at night. Trouble was, it wouldn't play more than a minute or two. I ran across these things and thought they'd be a little goofy. But I bought a couple anyway. The songs are remarkably recognizable though they are definitely lullaby-like. Works wonders! I can put it in the CD player and set it to "sleep" mode and on "shuffle" and off she goes to sleep. I HIGHLY recommend these CDs.

I don't have any children, but I have a high-stress job. I jokingly asked my husband for a "lullaby" to put me to sleep at night. He came up with these and I love them! They don't really put me to sleep, but they make me feel happy and I'm a whole lot more calm. It is better than listening to the actual U2 songs because I can hum it through the day without having the words run in my mind all the time.

These Rockabye cds are great. We have about 6 of them. We buy the one's that are of the bands we like. That way the kids listen to them before bed and we don't mind because we are singing the words in our heads to our favorite songs. Who ever created these is ingenious. No words and the music is changed just enough to make it sound kid friendly yet is so true to the original songs that you can't help humming along. Not too mention when a song comes on some where else I find my oldest humming along. It is so cool. I recommend all of these cds. Buy your favorite band, the kids will love it.

My husband and I both really love U2, so I was positively giddy to buy this CD! I didn't have very high hopes for it- I figured it was just too crazy to pass up. When we got in the car and put the CD in, we were both totally blown away- it's beautiful! Our daughter was asleep a few minutes later, and we listened to the CD two times in a row after that. Definitly buy this CD if you like U2!

I really like the music on this series of CDs. Makes kids music less redundant. Whoever came up with this idea is brilliant. I am a U2 fan, so, I enjoy listening, too.

I gave this CD to my sister-in-law as part of a rock-n-roll themed baby shower gift. I loved the idea of this product from the minute I laid eyes on the Rollingstones version. I originally came across Rockabye Baby! on the Baby Gap web site, but they only carried the Rollingstones version. So.. as I always do with anything that I can't find on other web sites I just searched for it on Amazon to see what I could find. Sure enough Amazon came through again with an amazing selection of these CD's.

I sampled several versions before choosing the U2 version for my soon-to-be nephew. I actually preferred the Bob Marley one, but chose U2 because I knew it would be well received by my brother who is a huge U2 fan. It was also sentimental for us because my brother, his wife and I had all gone to a U2 concert together a few years back. They listened to the whole CD last weekend and really liked it. Now my sister-in-law wants to get the Metallica version. I just wish I was having a baby so I could buy a few of these CD's for myself.

The only thing I didn't like about the U2 version when I heard the tinkling instrumental renditions of the songs was that the songs were almost unrecognizable. If U2 didn't hold sentimental value for me and my brother, who's son this CD is for, I would have chosen a different version - probably Bob Marley, Rollingstones, or The Beatles because their songs were still very recognizable in the lullaby rendition. Overall, this is a very cool product that will definitely be enjoyed by baby and mom alike! I will absolutely be buying and recommending these CD's to other soon-to-be moms in the future.

I bought this CD for my eight month old twins. Even if they are just cranky, just putting on this CD calms them down. A great investment to help the little ones get to sleep/relax. I listened to this CD before playing it for my kids, and almost fell asleep myself. A must have for all parents of babies/infants.

I LOVE this CD! I am a huge U2 fan and I love being able to listen to U2 while I am up in the middle of the night with my baby.

How fun is this - U2 Music for the baby's room. Now I wouldn't pop this in my car CD player (but what kid's music would you do this with...f) - instead it is just a really cute shower gift to give (and receive).

One of my best friends is a music fanatic and just had a baby this year. This was perfect! He was so impressed that I found something like this and has given me great reviews of it!
