Product Description

Package Quantity: 4 | Color: Lemon

Lunatec's dishcloths stay odor-free and have less bacteria than sponges or cotton dishcloths. Plus, food debris easily rinses free. Meaning you don't need to wash them in a machine. Most importantly, they scrub with purpose to clean dishes, pots, pans, showers and more.

Sponges and cotton dish rags get smelly because they don't dry. That allows bacteria to grow. Bacteria are what cause the odors. Our dishcloths dry in about 15 minutes preventing the growth of bacteria. Healthier for you, your family and your kitchen.

Ideal for your home kitchen, galley, RV, campsite and office kitchen. You'll love the loop too.

Customer Reviews

Easy to rinse clean and fast to dry.
Joe-Pros
Because it dries so fast, it doesn't harbor bacteria and smell like a typical wash cloth, so it stays clean.

They are great for scrubbing stove tops and counter tops.

I bought these for washing dishes at home. I was sick of replacing sponges and trying to keep dishrags in good clean condition. These rinse easily and never smell. They're textured enough to help scrub away a mess but they won't scratch the pan. They do hold a stain after washing something icky but it washes out in the laundry. They don't hold water so I drip dry them over the sink so I don't get a puddle, and I do have to use a dishrag for wiping up the counter. They get in the crevices of my plastic leftovers containers way better than my sponges did. Very happy with this item!

Update 2/2014: Okay, so my scrubbers did start to smell a little, but it took a year or so. Try getting a couple of sponges to last that long. The more frayed they get maybe more bacteria can get stuck in there. I recently received my third order of these. I noticed that the tag on my new ones say 100% nylon, while my old ones were 60% nylon and 40% polyester. After using the new ones for about two weeks, I would say they work the same. And maybe the 100% nylon construction will lend itself to less fraying and less eventual odor.

Since these suckers are drippy, I've found Umbra Chariot Stainless-Steel Dishcloth Stand and Scrubby Holder Combo to be a great way to store the scrubber between uses. The stand sits on the corner of my sink and has a slight hook on the end of it that is the perfect spot to hang the scrubber by the loop so the scrubber drips into the sink (the hook is covered by a dishcloth in the product's current picture). Then I drape my wipe-up-the-counter dishrag over the horizontal bar.

Still love these and still convinced I will always have one of these by my kitchen sink.

Sometimes, it's the little things in life that count. Like never feeling like your dishes are dirtier after washing them than they were when you took them off the table.

These dishcloths (well, the first one - the second one is still in reserve) have been the go-to dish scrubbers in my house for the past month or so, and so far, they've definitely lived up to their hype. They look a bit ragged (my fault - they've got an open weave that snags on things like, mmm, my Microplane), but they're no less effective for the wear, and can be tidied up easily with a little lighter work.

Meanwhile, they scrub dishes wonderfully, hold onto soap just about the perfect amount of time (long enough to wash a lot of dishes, but losing it before it turns scary gray-brown), they clean up easily, they take up little space, are non-scratching, they feel pretty good to wash with, and best of all, *they don't stink!* That dirty sponge smell is a thing of the past, and good riddance! Oh, and the hang-loop is surprisingly handy - especially when hung up that way, my Scrubr dries out quite quickly (which is good for you, bad for bacteria).

They also are great at getting into awkward little areas, like the gap underneath the blade of my food processor. And the fact that it's easy to get soap out of them when rinsing is actually quite handy - it lets me use them to clean my cast iron without (much) fear, whereas I never could trust my sponges, or even my regular green scotchbrite pads.

My only "ding" is that they are a little prone to pilling, and to catching on things. I wouldn't recommend using them on coarse materials (like unglazed stoneware/earthenware), and to take care when cleaning directional sharp things like box graters and microplanes. And they're a little pricey.

But other than that, this is my new go-to, and I look forward to testing out my other one on my next camping trip - crustiness, begone!

I received the Trekr and the Scrubr as gifts and I can't say enough good things about them. The beauty of these products is in the simplicity and elegance of the idea and design. I was skeptical why I would want these things because at first glance it doesn't look like they have much to offer over already existing products, but you can't fully appreciate the Treker and Scrubr until you get your hands on them and use them for the first time. The Trekr is basically a very light and durable wash cloth (which would be great for camping as intended, but I use mine at home) that dries ridiculously fast. Because it dries so fast, it doesn't harbor bacteria and smell like a typical wash cloth, so it stays clean. The Scrubr is essentially the same product but with a coarser texture that is better for cleaning/scrubbing things like pots/pans/dishes. To me, this is where the product really shines. We used to use kitchen sponges or cloths to wash our dishes but those things constantly need to be cleaned and replaced (especially sponges which start to reek after only a few days). The Scrubr solved that problem because it air dries so quickly and always seems to stay clean and fresh. I will never buy another sponge to do dishes. The product also seems to be well made and durable because we've had ours for over 2 months and it still feels new. Finally, the little loop on the corner is priceless because it makes it easy to hang the product so it stays in one place and dries even faster. I love these products and I love the quick dry material. I hope they expand the product line, because I'm sure there have to be other uses for a material like this.
