5.0 out of 5 stars Great product
This guide is great. You can carry it in a small handbag, and it has the top five of almost everything you might care for. Perfect for a couple of hectic tourism days in the city of Florence.

1.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely useless!!!
I have 2 guide books from that series (Venice and Colombo) and I found them both absolutely useless. The way that the guide books are written makes it impossible to find addresses or telephone numbers when you need them.
The 'helpful phrases' in the local language are embarrassing and not witty at all.
I will never buy a LUXE City Guide again.

4.0 out of 5 stars just like my PA, March 27, 2011

I received the Florence guide from my friend in UK. I just spent 3 days in Florence and didn't expect much to do. By following the LUXE guides, I did go to many different key points without browsing the internet. This little book had the best restaurants, spas, hotels and galleries, etc. It was really useful and I bought the European travel grand box after this trip ;)

5.0 out of 5 stars If you are cool & hip ....this guide is for you, July 14, 2011
If you are not spending too much time in Florence, and you happen to be in Florence for the scene, the dining, the shopping, and the truly remarkable and unforgettable vibe of the city, this guide is for you. Take other books to read up on the city's history and museums. This guide doesnt have maps or photos. However, it makes your life easier by listing only the best and deciding for you what the best activities (inc. shopping, gardens, museums, restaurants, etc) are worth checking out. You def. have to have a personality and good humor to like their take, but once you like LUXE you will not be able to travel without them!
