My search for the perfect boot has ended. This is it. A small, elegant heel, COMFORTABLE, stylish, suede, lined, waterproof, traction, just enough space to tuck in skinny jeans. Also, it's slim enough to wear under boot-cut jeans.... this shoe is perfect. It is pricey, but SO nice to purchase something made in CANADA rather than China. They actually are waterproof--I bought the black ones and have worn them in the rain several times without issue.

Heel is 2 1/2" high. Shaft is 16 1/2" high from the floor. Fits perfectly around my calves (14 1/2" calves at widest point). The first day I wore them, I went to the mall where 2 strangers stopped me and asked where I got them and who made them (one was a man asking for his wife, the other was a girl who started by saying, "I'm not a boot person, but those are so pretty!") They fit true to size.

WARNING--If you purchase these boots, you are likely to get addicted to the La Canadienne brand.......

Cute and comfortable! October 28, 2010

Let me start by saying that I usually have a lot of problems finding comfortable shoes (especially heels), so I was hesitant about ordering these without trying them first since they're pretty pricey. But I was happy with my decision - the boots are cute and look good with skinny jeans, and actually very comfy. I walked around the city for hours and my feet only hurt a little by the end of the day and I had minimal blistering. I wore them out in light rain and they seemed pretty waterproof. I ordered a half size up (10.5 instead of a 10) and that was a good choice, the boots fit well. I have average to muscular calves and the shaft is a little snug, but i can still fit skinny jeans under them. The lining is pretty warm and soft. Overall I'd say that if you're looking for a cute heeled winter boot, these are a good choice! They do look a little formal so I haven't worn them a lot in fall, but once it gets colder I'll probably wear them more.

I'm a skinny, petite girl so I have trouble finding boots that fit nicely around my thin calves. These boots fit perfectly! They are also excellent to wear during the winter as they are durable and waterproof. However, they are not as comfortable as some of these reviews lead me to believe. After a couple of hours on my feet I can definitely start to feel it, but they are relatively comfortable as far as boots with heels go. I also don't care much for the squared toe because I much prefer rounder toes.

Great purchase

Nice boots but less attractive to take.
I tried to suede boots with water proof.
Actually, I think it's well maid, high-quality boots.
However, the button looks less luring...
So I decided to return this.
