I had this station for 2 days now. I will try to review it as accurate as I can.
1- Cannot download any data into a computer
2- Since (1) is true, the only data that is displayed is the last reading for all sensors, in addition to the min/max for all the sensors (except the rain gauge) since they were last reset.
3- Initial setup is somewhat complicated especially with very little instructions.
4- Initial setup takes sometime
5- The outdoor temperature sensor is supposed to be in the shade, yet it is also supposed to be facing southward so it could collect light that is needed for its solar panel (this is what the instructions say!!!!)
6- the buttons on the unit are hard to press (but you will not be using them a lot)
1- Wireless distance seems to be accurate ~300ft
2- All the equipment seems to be as good as the ones I saw when I set up a $3000 weather station for a university research project.
3- you can add more sensor as you start needing them (if you need to check the micro climates for example)
4- I have not explored the alarm function yet, but it looks real good with many options. I will update the review once I explore that.
If you do not need weather station that logs data of a certain interval (every minute, 5 minutes, 1 hour, etc.) , and do not care for or want to be able to download any data for analysis into a weather program (on your computer) then this weather station is fabulous. It has everything, it might take a bit of time to set it up but it is worth it.
I hope this will help you all who are looking at this weather station.
