Good luck to all
As an experiment, I switched this clock with another similar model La Crosse and sure enough it had no problem connecting and resetting every night. I then took this La Crosse and put it outside, and sure enough it connected and was able to reset itself. In other words, the only way to get this particular model La Crosse to connect was to make sure it had a completely unfettered access to the signal.
I contacted Tech Support at La Crosse (a job unto itself) and they reluctantly agreed to let me send it back. Two weeks later they returned the clock to say they had no problem getting it to connect and therefore there was nothing wrong with it.
I put the clock back in the same location and still have the same problem with it to this day, having owned it now for about 9 months. The only way to get this clock to connect to the Denver signal is to put it outside for the night. I want to repeat this wasn't the issue when I first received it and no other La Crosse clock when put in that same area has this problem. Since connecting to the Denver signal is the only reason to purchase a clock like this, I'd be hesitant to recommend it to anyone else. And for the record, I'm retired and can afford to spend a few minutes trying to reach tech support departments.Read more ›
If you have an out building like a workshop or greenhouse, buy a second unit and put the remote temperature sensor in your building. I use one for my shop to make sure my finishing supplies don't freeze.
The numbers on this unit are 1-3/4 inches high. My old clock (which I use in another location) has 2-1/4 inch numbers which I like better. That's really my only complaint but not a deal breaker.
Note: When replacing batteries on this type of clock, follow the instructions on the battery door. If you don't follow the exact procedure, your clock will not set itself or work properly.

No backlight ;(
Cannot see in dark at all and is of little use to me.
A GREAT "atomic" clock (WWV in Boulder, CO) AND indoor/outdoor thermometers.
Now I know EXACTLY how late I am.
I have had to return at least three of these. I love the damn clock so much tho. I had one that lasted over a year. Keep trying!Published 3 months ago by chicagojosh77
Read early reviews and was waiting to review the WS 8115U-B Digital clock until I could give a valid useful opinion. I have had and used this clock for a year. Read morePublished 3 months ago by Rock *

Awesome little weather station, we use it in our RV as a clock and thermometer, and stick the other temperature sensor in our fridge to monitor the temperature in there. Read morePublished 5 months ago by Ysvensson
Already does not work. Will not keep correct time and the outdoor sensor has stopped so doesn't show any outdoor temperature.Published 5 months ago by Colleen Stroud
