The La Crosse weather station works as advertised. The only thing I didn't like was the design of the plastic anchors for wall mounting the sensors; I replaced them with some standard anchors.

A nice undocumented feature of the system is that you can read the same sensors on two different displays. By purchasing two systems, I could mount one sensor outside and one in my wine cellar and then get readouts for both sensors on both displays, which I keep in two separate areas of the house.

This product does what it says it should, but we were disappointed that it didn't read indoor humidity. Simple to program and install, and is accurate - matches the nearest weather station.

Pros:

Works Well.

Cons:

Does not use an AC adapter; battery only.

I live in a house with a crawl space under the first floor. Due to the vents installed by the builder (they are required by building code)that space and the floor were cold in the winter. I installed rigid foam removable inserts in each vent to block cold air from entering the space, and they worked great. However, my concern was high humidity in the crawl space - that's what the vents are for. To solve this potential problem I placed the La Crosse Weather Station sensor in the crawl space, and now I know what the temperature and, more importantly, the humidity is in that space. Works great!

We have used the La Crosse WS-9023U in our home for over 6 years. It has functioned flawlessly, requiring only one change of batteries during this period. This year, we purchased two additional units for Christmas presents. The recipients were more than pleased to receive them.

We highly recommend this product.

If you don't want all the bells and whistles and are just interested in indoor temp, outdoor temp and humidity this is perfect. The price is right. It's easy to install and compact in size.

It is just as advertised. Easy to set up and install. Provides outdoor temperature and humidity, which in my case as a golfer, is important. It also has time and indoor temperature. It is exactly what aI wanted and without all the extras that I find unneccesary.

I bought this to monitor the humidity in my basement. Does just what I wanted it to do. I setup the sensor in my basement and the receiver is upstairs on the 2nd floor in my office. Very accurate. Very easy to use and setup. The MIN and MAX feature is very nice also. Perfect for what I needed.

This device is easy to step up, easy to install and the large data is easy to read. I have a "control" outdoor thermometer to test the device's accuracy and it's right on target!
