La Habana Quiere Guarachar Contigo" or 'Havana wants to party with you', Captures the true Cuban spirit like no other album at this time.

With that said I will try to this album justice.

Candido Fabre brings us music that makes us dance involuntarily, 'son' at it's purest form. Simple Cuban beats accompanied by Fabre's very distinct coarse yet melodic voice. This I consider the evolution of the music of the greats from Buena Vista Social Club. Same feeling, but a faster, more danceable pace. Fabre in Cuba is said to be the greatest improviser since Beny More. A title which he definitely deserves, since even though this is a studio recording, he breaks through every once in a while and makes the songs better with his spontaneous improvisation.

"La Habana Quiere Guarachar Contigo" the first song is definitely the most contagious where he mentions the greatest modern Cuban artists, and improvises from then on, making it a total party with just one song.

If you need a break from a the lately repetitive Van Van titles, get yourself a copy of "La Habana Quiere Guarachar Contigo" and dance your way through life.
