Like the title says, this is a realy great beginner climbing shoe.

I would get blood scars on the heels, and a few times I have gotten a bruised toe nail from climbing in them that would take more than 6 months to heal.

I have a narrow heel and a wide toe box - which these accommodated nicely.

Like the title says, this is a realy great beginner climbing shoe. I wear size 7.5-8 in normal shoes, and upon trying this on in the store, decided on size 6.5 in the Nagos. They stretch in length, but not in width, so you will probably want to start off with a snug fit in the toe area. I've been climbing inside and outside for a year in this shoe, and it holds up really well to all the elements. I'm starting to look at a more advanced shoe now, but my heart is set on Sportivas now.

Great shoe. The leather has stretched a little which has made for a more comfortable fit without being loose. The rubber has held up well and I like the lace ups more than velcro which I didn't expect. Overall this is great climbing shoe in term of comfort and quality.

This was my first pair of climbing shoes. They have lasted well. I have a narrow heel and a wide toe box - which these accommodated nicely. I usually wear a women's 8.5, but I got these in a 7, knowing that the leather would give in the toes. Although painful at first, (I would take them off between climbs), the design placement of synthetic and leather materials - combined with a slight downturned toe have been great to break in to and progress in. The only reason I won't get these again is because I'm now looking for a more aggressive toe.

This is a great beginner's shoe! I bought them in my local sporting goods store because it was recommended to me by a store associate. Starting at a great price point of $88 (and I got a 10% discount for being a member at my local gym, so only $86 after tax), it was ideal for me. Plus, they're comfortable right off the bat! Some people like to size down significantly, but as a beginner, I just wanted something that would be comfortable right away. I normally wear a 8.5 women's shoe, and the Nagos in 7.5 women's (38.5 Euro) was a great fit for me. They were a little tight at first, and I had some problems with one of the shoes digging into my right heel, but by my 2nd-3rd climb with them, they were already comfortably broken in.

I've learned sizing really depends on the brand and the shoe. Online articles recommend that you size down, but it's hard to tell with how each company sizes their shoes. Definitely try in store first if you can. I sized down a whole size (from 8.5 to 7.5) and it was still comfortable for me to walk around and climb, without having to take them off between climbs.

I've only used these once, but I tried on several different styles and this fits the best. I think the lace up style is good, it fits a wider range of feet. My feet are a little wide with a narrow heel.

Really comfortable for climbing shoes. Great shoe to start with but once you start climbing above a 5.9/5c you'll want to switch to a more aggressive shoe. The rubber on this shoe isn't very sticky and the shape isn't great for tough moves, but if you're just getting started, it's a comfortable, affordable way to go.
