I've been climbing in Mythos shoes for many years, so I like La Sportiva. But I wanted something with a bit more protection for crack/offwidths. The TC pro's are about the only thing available with a high ankle, but at $180 I baulked for a while. Then I found a pair for $140 so decided it was time.
I'm extremely happy with these shoes, they climb much better at everything than I expected. These have become my go to pair for all climbing. My Mythos have been relegated to easy long day routes.
They edge incredibly well and impart quite a lot of power to the big toe. It's true that the relatively thick insole takes away some sensitivity, but I honestly don't find that a problem.
I bought size 41.5. They initially stretched quickly and I thought they might be too big, but they stopped stretching quickly too and they are now a perfect fit - toes touching the end, but not scrunched up. Comfortable for a couple of hours at a time. I wear a 9.5 street shoe and my Mythos are a size 41. I tried a 41 in the TC pro but it seemed too tight. 41 would probably have been OK for single pitch hard climbs, but I'm more into multi-pitch trad.
My only slight complaint is that the tongue tends to curl at the edges when you first put on the shoes, so you have to be a little careful to smooth it out before lacing up, but that has got a little better as the shoes have settled in.
I could be wrong about this, but judging by the fit on my average/narrow feet I think that they may not fit well on wide feet.
I highly recommend these shoes.

If you're primarily crack climbing or you work rough trad routes, get this shoe. You will not be disappointed.

Overall, it performs very well for the type of shoe. Plenty of support for standing on dime-sized edges (I've managed to stand on some tiny microflakes in a way that seems physically impossible)and tons of padding for camming your foot in cracks with manageable pain. Heck, it's pretty comfortable for a climbing shoe after you break it in. Durability is also spot-on... the leather on this is ridiculously thick and should easily hold up to a great deal of intense climbing.

That said, the shoe isn't perfect. First off, the Vibram XS Edge rubber is mediocre. I understand that it's designed to be super stiff so it edges better... but the durability is quite awful and it's nowhere near as sticky as Stealth C4. Definitely not sticky enough to be on a shoe I'd want for extensive slab climbing. I tried a pair resoled with Stealth C4 rubber and the difference in smearing ability was huge. Definitely going to do that when my pair needs a new rubber job.

Another downside is that the tongue has a tendency to roll inwards. Eventually, you get the hang of how to move it around to get the tongue straightened out but this is a HUGE annoyance if you only realize it halfway up a pitch when you decide to cam your foot in a crack.

You can definitely use this shoe in the gym (and for some easy bouldering) without worrying too much about wear (assuming your footwork doesn't suck).

Excellent trad shoe that works very well on granite face climbing. Best shoebI've ever owned for this type of climbing. Unfortunately they wear out fairly quickly - I have an issue with the stitching inside the shoe fraying (4 pairs now) by the time they are in need of a resole. Great shoe overall but way too pricey at MSRP.

This is a fantastic shoe to add to your collection (you know you have one).

As it is leather, it will stretch. I sized mine down 1/2 size (I wear 43 in Miuras) and it stretched perfectly.

A lot of people I know love it for all around trad climbing, but I really find it shines best for edging on sport climbs (and bouldering). The platform they use seems to direct like all of my power (and then a bunch more) onto the edge and I feel like I can literally stand on anything.

I see these things on everyone in the Valley and on people in sporty areas (pinecreek/owens) AND bouldering in the bishop area AND out on alpine routes in the sierras. They're just that awesome.
