Does not work with DVD+R DL,

I recently purchased this item for my PowerMac G5 because I was interested in utilizing the Lightscribe technology. After installing, I was able to successfully burn cd and single layer DVD-R and +R discs. However, of the four attempts to burn to DVD+R DL, only one worked. Thinking it might have something to do with the blank media I was using, I replaced the Lightscribe drive with the original Superdrive that came with the mac and everything worked, so clearly the Lacie drive was having issues handling dual layer burning. As for the lightscribe technology, it looks really good (use the setting for best image quality when printing to disc, otherwise the image will come out a little to lite.) Since I already own the drive, I'm planning on buying a disc enclosure for it so I can connect it to my powermac externally, but for those of you looking for a lightsribe drive, I recommend getting the newer Lacie internal drive or the more expensive external if you have a mac and any of the hp internals if you're running a PC, that way you wont need a second drive just to handle dual layer burning.

That is the product that I had ordered, but I received an External drive that didn't have the Lightscribe feature, so I placed another order with an Amazon Vendor, who sent me the correct drive.As for the External drive, I ended up selling it to a friend of mine.
