The key to total security. With the LaCie CooKey, we've combined inventive storage with total data protection. The round design by 5.5 Designers is both functional and memorable, and the protection that the LaCie CooKey offers makes it extremely reliable. We've enhanced the security features on the CooKey, which means that you can keep your files as safe as possible. It's even protected on the outside, since its connector is water- and scratch-resistant.
With the CooKey, it's easy to keep your important files confidential and protected. LaCie Private-Public software is included, which means that if some, or even all your data needs to be encrypted and password-accessible, you're all set. You can create a secure partition on your CooKey with Private-Public, giving you personalized, customizable protection.
LaCie PC/Mac Lock software allows you to log on and off your computer simply by inserting the CooKey. That's it! With PC/Mac Lock, you can keep your computer as secure as your home—and only you have the key. Once you've plugged in your key, PC/Mac Lock will automatically log you on—then when you remove it, you're automatically logged out, giving you protection and security. Just one LaCie USB key can lock and unlock as many Mac computers or PCs as you want—it's up to you.
LaCie has integrated secure online storage from Wuala into the CooKey, making storing and sharing your files, photos, or videos easier than ever. You get a one-to-one storage ratio with Wuala (your 8GB CooKey will come with 8GB of Wuala storage, for example), doubling your storage capacity.
