Amazing :-D,

I absolutely love this burner. I haven't really used the software it came with (aside from the litescribe software-which has an extremely simple and easy to use interface) because I have Mac OS X. Installing the drivers for OS X was extremely simple (it came with them but also offers a link to updated drivers for OS 10.4.4-the most recent update for Tiger) I only have one cavieat which should only apply to the person who has not done his research... in order to use the litescribe you have to buy "litescribe discs" I find that I usually just use a sharpie instead of getting the litescribe discs: while it may take less than 5 minutes to burn a dvd....the litescribe burn (on the high quality setting) can take up to 25 min.

Full compatibility with all DVD formats, great software included, nice writing speed. Just be sure to connect through USB 2.0. I had to upgrade from USB 1.0 because of the extremely low speed operation under such port.

...then died (hangs on writing the lead-out).
Technical service was pretty terrible - they basically told me that they don't support Nero (with which it worked fine for 2 months) and had me waste time installing their own bundled software and firmware updates, which of course did not help. |
