Purchased these boots for a late season trip to Nebraska. Not a big fan of heavy Pac boots for hunting, but even less of a fan of cold feet. Advertisements say they were designed for "long cold days in the tree stand". I agree 100%, spent a average of 8 1/2 hours a day in a stand in cold( high of 22 low of 6 ) for 10 days with no problems. Very comfortable for the long walk in and out also. Minimal care, boot brush snow/mud and boot dryer at night. I was so satisfied, I plan on making these my 1st choice for ice fishing in the coming weeks!

I bought those boots in October and got them just before deer hunting season for upstate NY. First feeling,comfortable and light. I have the Rocky 800 gr for the mid season and now the 1600 gr for the real cold are great. I went to my tree stand walking up 25 minutes in the mod, brunches and limbs, I felt like I had spikes under the boots,great traction, this is my 4x4. The thing I like there is no stitches between the sole and the leather and that makes the humidity stay away. I had to break them in for a day, I felt the leather at the join rubbing slightly against my skin but that went away as the leather soften.
Last thing, it's a wonderful value for what it is, you can't go wrong.

I purchased several pair for my husband and his hired men. They farm and all hunt. They are very warm and quite comfortable. They all like them.
