Decent boots, not wonderful, but a fair value for the price.

Pro: Rubber, which is flexible, adjusts to the foot and more comfortable than PVC, especially in cold weather.

Pro: Decent tread, could be a bit more agressive, but not bad.

Con: Foam insulation is so-so. Winter daytime temps here usually hover from 35-45F degrees. These boots keep me marginally warm. When these need replacement I am upgrading to Thinsulate (at a $40-$50 increase in price).

Con: As mentioned a nub on the back of the boot would facilitate removal. I use a homemade boot jack, which works well.

Not really a con, but know, like all rubbber boots I have owned, the sizing is wild. My normal boot size is 9.5 USA. These boots are size 8 USA and they are a touch large. I showroomed these at a local store, so knew what size would fit before ordering.

Living in the Pacific Northwest rain forest, my rubber boots get used 12 months of the year. And, I have gone through a lot of pairs, rubber, PVC neoprene, but now that I have gotten to a certain age, I'm sticking with rubber. Other than the warmth factor, these are good boots.

I highly recommend LaCrosse boots, I have always used Hunter and barbour and I now find LaCrosse to be by far superior both in quality and warmth.

I've just come in from HOURS of snow blowing over two feet of snow down our long driveway with heavy wet snow. It's twenty degrees today. This is Nemo, the Wicked Blizzard of 2013 and here in north-central Connecticut we got walloped big time! These boots have been PERFECT. They are tough and fairly light weight considering all the other options available. The traction is excellent in the snow and while wearing wool blend socks, they have kept my feet dry and toasty warm! I like that I can tuck in my jeans to trudge through deep snow or pull the jeans over them if I'm going around town or taking my kids for a walk down the road. EXCELLENT BOOT! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I bought these boots for my father (58 years old) as a Christmas present because he was looking to replace his old rubber boots for the boat and fishing. He is still raving about them and how they're so versatile. He says they're the best boot he's ever owned! He wore them to go ice fishing, to shovel snow and can't wait to bring them on the boat. They're insulated, comfortable and don't require any breaking in period.

These are fantastic, not only for wet snowy conditions, but are surprisingly comfortable for all-day wear. They have excellent support for long walks with the dog and allow jeans to be tucked inside or worn over the shafts. These are particularly warm in cold New England winters but not overwhelmingly so during spring and the warmer months. The aggressive sole is unparalleled in terms of traction on slippery surfaces.

This are the warmest boots I have ever used in a life of over 60 years of outdoor living. Everyday outside feeding cattle in all elements. Just went through a week of -30F weather and with fairly thin dress socks these boots were toasty warm. Easy on, Easy off.

I just got these boots and found out they are now made in China. I have had two pairs of usa made lacrosse boots that lasted ten years each. These are made way different they have thin floppy uppers, thinner rubber that seems more brittle and less plyable and they are about a half size smaller than the usa made versions I have that leak a little now. I hate it that the site and company lied by not saying these boots are imported and are made out of that stinky rubber from China like the way a harbor freight store smells you know . Iam so mad they tricked me into buying this poor quality junk

In spite of the reviews that this is a winter boot, my husband (retired Coast Guard, served in Alaska) took one look at it and wouldn't even try it on. There is a small amount of insulation around the foot, with only a thin layer underneath the foot. The entire upper part of the boot has zero insulation. It's just rubber. Also, the boot lining is NOT removable for drying. Because of other reviews, I was hoping for a tall warm boot that could handle snowdrifts and deep mud on a midwestern cattle farm. This is NOT it.
