spent my youth at LaGuardia hanging out in hangers, taking reports to tower, taking free flights during sunday tests for stews and pilots. Everyone knew everyone in those early days....talking about 1940 something....

As a child,my Dad took me to the promanade and we'd watch the propliners come and go.A fun experience getting sand blasted by the prop wash.
