This is a great book about a kid called Sam and the other guy in him. It is written a little differently than the other watchers books that I've read. (watchers 1-4)cuz of a little tiny twist in the plot near the end. I won't tell u cuz it's a secret you'll have to read it your self. It's a great book to read and never gets boring. Once you read the first paragraph you just want to keep reading (unlike those boring 1000 page books that is total junk the first couple hundred of pages.

Sam Hughes is a normale kid. He has friends and a mom and a dad there is nothing wrong with him. Well that is untill he goes to his parent lab(were the work). He gets a really bad headache and hears a voice call to him. He goes home to bed and forgets all about it. But then later he finds out by mistake that his parents aren't doing what they've been saying they've been doing at work, and Sam isn't a normale kid. But he is going to find out all the answers in lab 6.

If you haven't read any of the Watchers books by Peter Lerangis, then you are missing out. They are cool and interesting science fiction, that keep you guessing well into the book. This one in particular is gripping until the end. It makes connections between science concepts and the supernatural science lab ideas. I do question the parents in this book. I have two students in my class who are reading these books along with me and I can't finish them fast enough to hand them off to them. They often connect to science and social studies in the book to help students build their connections to real life. This series is great. I am beginning to explore some other writing by Peter Lerangis in some other series as well. You should too!
