A decent, but rather superficial, introduction to Labview,

Having taught myself the basics of Labview programming, I had hoped that this book would give me some exposure to the more complex features of the language. In reality I learned very little from it. The book would be useful for a complete beginner, but once you get beyond the basics you will want a book with greater depth.

The book was advertised as a hard cover book, but arrived as a soft cover. The text print quality is good, but pictures and diagrams are difficult to see. Some pictures are too dark. The book cost > $50 so I assumed the quality of the product to be decent. The content of the book is fine, but quality is not as expected. I would return the book, but the return procedure with Amazon is such a hassle that I decided to accept it for what it is. It will be difficult to trust the descriptions used on the Amazon website in the future.
