Get results fast, with LabVIEW Signal Processing!
This practical guide to LabVIEW Signal Processing and control system capabilities is designed to help you get results fast. You'll understand LabVIEW's extensive analysis capabilities and learn to identify and use the best LabVIEW tool for each application. You'll review classical DSP and other essential topics, including control system theory, curve fitting, and linear algebra.
Along the way, you'll use LabVIEW's tools to construct practical applications that illuminate:
The accompanying website contains the complete LabVIEW FDS evaluation version, including analysis library, relevant elements of the G Math Toolkit, and complete demos of several other important products, including the Digital Filter Design Toolkit and the Signal Processing Suite.
Whether you're a professional or student, LabVIEW represents an extraordinary opportunity to streamline signal processing and control systems projects--and this book is all you need to get started.
MAHESH L. CHUGANI is a DSP Software Engineer at National Instruments and a reviewer for IEEE Potentials magazine. His expertise includes filter design, biomedical signal processing, and dynamic signal analysis. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
ABHAY R. SAMANT, a Software Engineer in National Instruments' DSPSW Group, is responsible for maintaining the Advanced Analysis Library in LabWindows CVI and ComponentWorks. He has also developed part of LabVIEW's Control and Simulation Software and is working on software targeted at telecommunications applications.
MICHAEL CERNA, a software engineer at National Instruments, is responsible for the Advanced Analysis Library for LabVIEW, DSP functions for LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI and ComponentWorks, and Dynamic Signal Analysis Software.

yeay! a straight-forward intro to LabVIEW,
By A Customer
This review is from: LabVIEW Signal Processing (Paperback)
I'm using this book in conjunction with an experimental methods class this semester. I did have some exposure to LabVIEW before, but this book has taught me more in two chapters than I learned all last semester. (It's also been a very basic review of waves). The material is presented in an intelligent order and I've had no trouble finding things. The layout lends well to self teaching as well.

Abhay and Mahesh have already been congratulated before for this. I am completing DSP-MATLAB at Canada's prestigious Humber Community College as a WIRELESS program. The text in the course was immensely useful as it helped me understand DSP much better with LabVIEW especially the coefficient handling technique for real and imaginary parts is much easier here than Matlab. Also the heart pulse rate measurement application was useful for advice to one of my clients. I recognise this book much better except that the proven real life examples neeed to be shown with some VI's and that is sort of a limitation. I enjoyed it and shall also complete it fully.
