This Board is exceptional. We have a local skateboard shop and to get the same or comparable board locaily it was well over 100.00 dollars. This board has allot of concave and with canadian maple deck the bearings and wheels this is a steal. I origainly thought i will get my kids a cheap board at walmart after taking the board back twice i decided to pay a little more. This blows the tony hawk 60.00 dollar boards away. I use to skate growing up and well i know a bargain when I see one. Labeda did great job I bought two Santos And eyes Great Boards.

You know, I purchased this item as a gift for someone. I had known that my gift recipient really wanted a skateboard, but I didn't entirely know his skill. Potentially being a beginner, I wanted to get him a board that he could learn on, but would give him more than your standard basic (aka "Walmart" board). I have read some columns that put the Labeda boards in the "Walmart" board category, but with a Canadian hard maple deck, solid wheels, and abec 9 bearings, this board appears to offer more than a basic beginner board.

Before giving this board as a gift, tried it out some and it seemed to have a good feel to it. For the 60$ price tag, a lot of people would recommend a bare board, but I felt like this one offered a little more potential. From initial takes, I'd say it does.
