this is a beautiful book from cover to cover, showcasing some amazing artwork from really talented artists. there's always something new to see when you flip through the pages.. the artwork is just incredible! and what an awesome idea... i'd like to see more volumes of this book to showcase more & more artists!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Odd Art
This is the most unusual book of art I'd ever seen. Not great to encourage the misuse of the Postal Service's Label 228, they are free labels but to be used for mailing purposes only. Had I been able to see the book before purchasing, I would not have bought it. It is just full of weird, non-talented art, not impressive.

5.0 out of 5 stars Label 228; alternative artwork, October 12, 2009

This compilation of various artists has me intrigued. I especially enjoyed the artwork on page 30, by the code name "AR" in the upper left corner. From September 2002, this artist has an uncanny, almost Dr Seuss meets Sponge Bob type-format, artwork that appeals to any age or gender. The stars representing hope, and the robots irky mouth shows the ability to blow off steam and not take life so serious. Very impressive work.
