4.0 out of 5 stars Great hobby labeler, April 16, 2007
It is a great hobby labeler - for the issue mentioned above, there is a setting that allows the feed margins to be changed to be 'narrow' or 'continuous'. As long as you don't have a need to cut every label right after you print it, you can print several with less margin and use scissors to separate them later.

I do wish you could print more than one style of text per label, but it does not seem to be able to accomplish this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Ok design and fast printing, November 2, 2006
My only complaint with this label printer (other than the very small screen) is that with every label you print, a large margin gets left.

Eventually this will consume more tape than expected - and the tape is not cheap...

My suggestion: If this is for occasional use for home/hobby - go ahead, it's a great buy.

If you need this for professional labeling (i.e. cabeling work, identifictaion) please spend the extra $ for a real labeling machine.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love it!, October 21, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I really like this unit --- easy to use (my 7-year-old has it worked out). The fabric tape is great; I used it to label my boys' clothes. Tapes stick well to lunch boxes and plastic boxes.

The downside is cost; tapes are kind of expensive.
