I had had heard the author speak at a conference and was intrigued enough while listening to her speak to go online and purchase the book even before she finished her talk. The book doesn't disappoint. It is chock full of useful information the many factors that impact health labor markets in developing countries. In addition, there are some great tables and charts that quickly summarize information needed.

In general, I don't for books composed of chapters, where each chapter is written by someone else, The Labor Maret for Health Workers in Africa, however is extremely well edited so that the shift from chapter to chapter is smooth. And while it's an academic book, it's relatively easy to read.
