Since the ingredients aren't listed, I'm typing them as they appear on the label. It is a "proprietary formula" of 1,200 mg total, which means no exact milligrams of any of the individual ingredients are listed. Two pills contain: African mango extract (irvingia gabonensis), maqui berry (from aristotelia chilensisa), acai fruit, green tea extract, reservatrol, caffeine anhydrous, apple cider vinegar (powder), kelp, grapefruit (powder). Without exact milligrams of each ingredient you have no idea for example exactly how much caffeine you're ingesting. I took one pill and had severe cramps...must be quite a bit of caffeine, too, as it's 4 a.m. and I'm wide awake writing this review.

I purchased this product based on the reviews, however, after trying this on two separate occasions, I can say with certainty that these these pills do not work.

I first used these for three weeks. I thought it was my imagination that I was hungrier than usual and more constipated. After three weeks, I discontinued use. Over the next few weeks off this product, I started to slowly feel like my old self, my mood improved, my appetitie decreased, and my bowels eased.

However, about two months later, I ran across more good reviews on this product and decided to give them another try. After all, my initial purchase came with two bottles.

Big mistake! Within two days, I noticed my appetite increased again and I was headed toward constipation. I stopped after two days but it took my system another four days to return to normal. These pills are now where they belong...in the trash!

-Slows bowels to the point of constipation

-Leaves you with an overall yucky feeling (hard to put into words)

I wish I had not wasted my time, money, or energy on this product.

Definitely noticed less hunger, so not tempted to snack as usual. I would say it helps you to follow a sensible diet plan and stick with it. I lost 12 pounds using this for 1 month. I also cut out all the chips and sodas, ate healthier meals and smaller portions. I haven't started an exercise program yet though.(may as well be honest, right?)

I will probably buy some more of this, as it does help me to not want to snack a lot. I had no side effects from it and I do take a prescription for high blood pressure. This is the ONLY diet product I have ever used that did not cause a side effect because of the blood pressure issue.

My advice is if you are willing to follow a healthier eating plan, then most likely you will benefit from this product and lose weight. The fact that it does make you feel full, so you don't want to snack really helps. It takes a couple of weeks to get used to not snacking as much,(your head is telling you that you want it, even when you don't feel hungry,lol) but if you can get through that, you will win the battle.

It's a really good price to try this product. I've only just started using this product and although I'm not hungry I've only lost 2 lbs in two weeks. I do feel more energetic as well.

Well, it has been 1 month now and i have not lost anyweight or do I notice any difference in my body.

Purchased 2 bottles of this when there was just one review. Thought I'd give it a try because there are so many African Mango products out there, I thought reading that the 1200 mg was the potency of the actual Irvingia G(word). After receiving the product, I took the dosage of 2 per day faithfully not really changing my diet for 2 wks. I noticed a "mild" appetite suppressant and that's about it. I upped the dosage for the next 2 wks against instructions to 4 per day and still not much notice and definitely no weightloss. Finished about half of the second bottle with totally unsatisfying results. My goal was 50 lbs even if it was 10 lbs at a time. The "Proprietay blend" is 1200mg. The nutritional information doesn't include how much Irvingia it actually contains. Not impressed with this particular product and would not buy it again. Will try the IrvingiaAppress instead.

I tried this product, as well as, Life Smart Labs, 1300 mg Acai Berry Juice Extreem. I bought this product thinking it would give me the much needed kick since hitting a plateau in my weight loss efforts. I work out about 3 times a week and try eating properly. This supplement didn't increase my energy, nor did it help my metabolism in order to lose weight.

This is Crap,I used all 60 tablests and nothing,no weight loss nothing,I even work out three times a week and still only gain more weight,I dont feel any better,I have seen not improvement at all. I have been taking this supplement for two months and have lost about 10 pounds and 2 inches from my waist. I've noticed a drastic reduction in appetite, which makes it much easier to resist junk food and constant snacking. I haven't seen much increase in energy, although I do enjoy a small added caffein boost when I take both pills in the morning. I wouldn't say that I'm losing weight because of this product--I'm losing weight because I'm eating less and am more active--but it is a very helpful tool in keeping me on track. I've recommended it to friends and will continue to do so.

I bought this product based on the positive reviews and it did not disappoint me. As of today I am down 16 pounds and I have been using African Mango for four months. I think this sustainable for me because it really does work as an appetite suppressant. I don't feel like I have any cravings outside my regular diet. I don't even want snacks.

I have been motivated to walk and exercise more just because I feel like I have more energy. This could be just from the weight loss but the weight loss is from the pill so it's all good. I haven't felt any side effects from the pills other than feeling like I need to drink more water but I needed to anyway. I just feel better taking a pill that is natural instead of one that has a bunch of chemicals in it. If you are on the fence about trying this, I'd recommend you do it. Good stuff!
