I am a Junior nursing student and found this book extremely useful. I used this extensively when working on assigned case studies and as an overall reference tool to help me understand the importance of RBC counts, WBC counts, etc and their effects on the body.

The book is both easy to read and laid out well so that you can find what you need quickly.

This book was on my list of required books for me to buy for my first year in the nursing program. I did not like the format of the book and I found it to be a little confusing. I did like the fact that it contained nursing diagnoses with each lab test but other than that, it was not very helpful to me.

I was required to buy this book when I started nursing school last year. It was fine for the minute things we needed to look up in Fundamentals but it is not fine now! It contains very little pertinent information & what it does contain is so condensed that it is not helpful. It also doesn't do a very good job of relating the lab tests to particular disorders/diseases. I just ordered a different book & I will be getting rid of this one. I have a classmate that is getting a different book as well because this book isn't helpful to her either.

Short and sweet on common lab testing w/ some related nursing diagnosis. Good reference book; easy formatting; comfortable sized book. Easier than scrolling through your IPhone. I recommend it.

Haven't had to use it very much but It's our lab bible for nursing. It comes in handy.

This book is quite helpful in determining diagnostic tests and values inside and outside normal range.

The book was just as the description said it was. I received it even before I expected too. I recommend this seller.

this book has a lot of info but the way it is presented makes it very hard to find info that's needed to complete an assignment, especially in clinicals when you pressed on time.
