Very interesting and useful book for chemistry teachers. I recommend to put in practice all the strategies suggested by the authors.

I learned what?,

I really did not learn much from these experiments. I thought some experiments were cool and interesting, but I found doing the labs themselves were quite difficult because there is not much instruction. It was for a Gen. Chem. course. I hope OCHEM will be a better experience.

I had to buy this book for a class, it's not something I selected on my own. My chemistry lab was terrible, easily one of the worst classes I ever had at PSU (the class itself was easy, the problem was how retarded and unorganized the class structure was). Because the lab was so terrible, I don't think I can give a fair review to this work because I associate it with the WORST LAB EVER. The price for this cheaply produced soft cover book is way too high, but that is most textbooks. Avoid this book if you can, but you're probably like me and have no choice in the textbooks you must buy for class, so buy it used if you can find it, because as soon as class is over the only thing it will be good for it starting a fire or that day you run out of toilet paper.
