For those whose course including a laboratory component, a Laboratory Manual, compiled and edited by Gail A. Steehler (Roanoke College), is available for the 6th edition. New experiments are on the ozone and biodiesel. Additional experiments are available on the Online Learning Center, as is the instructor’s guide.

1.0 out of 5 stars not smart to buy a used lab book August 1, 2012

Buying a used lab book was probably not smart in the first place, but the book that I received was written in all over. That wasn't the big deal. The big deal was that about a little less than a quarter of the pages in the book were torn out, so I couldn't even do the labs I had to for class. I had to borrow one of my friend's book a lot of the time.

3.0 out of 5 stars Thanks Amazon September 13, 2010

I was so pleased with the speed in which I received the book. It was just in the condition they said it would be. I find the book to be a great value. I only gave a 3 star rating because the book itself it just average. The experiments in the book a fairly simple. I am required to take Chemistry so I gotta do it.
