I got this one from my mother and here is my review : It's Portable ,Light , Stylish , Comfortable.I like the design that allows more flexibility and doesnt tie the user down . It's got a stylish design with nice colors blue-silver and usually managed to turn heads whenever i walk through town. It provides acceptable audio quality but loses out of course to other big time headphones which costs around 15 bucks and above .The range is good ,treble fine but though lacks bass. I've used it for 3 months and no problems or detioration in sound quality so far. Good for portable players ,like mp3 players , md players ,mp3 cd ....etc It's cheap and suitable for low budget ppl like me ! go for it. Nice product from labtec .

I got these headphones about 2 weeks ago while on vacation at a mall. The sound quality is great!! But the lil strap that hangs off ypur ears begins to hurt after about 10-20 min. If u take them off then rub your ears the begin 2 feel beter but i would like 2 have some headphones that you don't have to do that!! Hence the price for the quality. Other thn that the sound is great! I suggest getting the SONY streetstyle headphones opposed 2 these!

These DO NOT hurt,

NO PAIN!!! These aren't painful like everyone apparently thinks. I found them much more comfortable than my other headphones (Jensen behind-the-head phones). The only problem is they have a tendacy to stick far out of the ear, resulting in something that makes you look like on of the Jetsons or something like that. They are not ANYTHING like what the other reviewers think. The sound quality is awesome, they are NOT painful, and are compact because nothing attatches each phone to the other. Recommended to music lovers who want compact headphones.

I LOVE these headphones, for me the sound Quality was great and they got pretty loud w/out gettings distortions, and the pain, i guess is based on the individual.....My ears only hurt after wearing them for more than 1-2 hours straight...... i've had them for about 3-5 years(cant remember) and the Right headphone is now going bad.....(well, i also used them ALOT..) well, for the $5 i spent on them, they were awesome and am very glad that they still actually have them.....

Completely Great Headphones. Period,

First off, I'd like to address the issue of comfort. These headphones, at first, were a pain to use. BUT! It didn't take long for Common Sense to come knocking at my door. Just bend the part that sticks to your ear a bit. Otherwise, yes, they do pinch a tad, but a week later, I found myself getting used to the small amount of pain these headphones gave after a slight modification.Sound quality... oh God. These are undoubtedly the best quality headphones I've ever had the pleasure of hearing. I've been a musician for a while now, and I have a very good ear. I compared these with my friend's pair of 60 dollar headphones and noticed no difference. (Except of course, his were cups, so it eliminated ambient noise, and they were much quieter as well, which, if you're like me and love metal, is not a good thing.) I recommend these headphones to anyone. I love 'em! For the low price, how can you go wrong?

Horrible sound, and design,

Having to use this headphones for over a month, the sound quality is horrible. But considering the price... This proves, you get what you pay for.The headphones are not the easiest to place over your ears for quick listening, etc. It took me a while before I figured the best way on installing them on your ears. There are no pressure to "squeeze" the headphones against your ears, thus the poor quality. I would apply light pressure to each headphone and noticed the sound quality to be better. Without the headband to "squeeze" the headphones against your ear, you won't get the best sound quality. I would suggest on purchasing a better set of headphones.

I can't stand headphones that go over your head, wrecks the hairdo, don't ya know. Whenever I find a product I like and it is time to replace it...the manufacturer has, 99% of the time, stopped making it. When I found these headphones I immediately ordered 10 sets. I since have given away 4 to very good friends that were envious of them. Raytheon is collecting items for our troops serving in Iraq and recovering in hospitals in Germany. I love these headphones and am taking the risk I can replenish my stash and have donated the 6 sets. I think they will enjoy them as much as I have and they sure deserve it, and more.

Good sound, but bulky,

The sound is good, but the only issue I have with these headphones is that they are a little bulky. They don't hurt, but I can feel them and it's something that I have to get use to. I'm use to the earbud kind and not this kind, so that's why these are so noticeable to me

I wore 'em till they wore out. Definitely my favorite style of headphones. These had good sound that lasted until the end (over a year--good for cheap headphones). The speakers lasted just as long as the foam padding, but did give out after repeated volume-at-11 listenings.

Essentially the sound quality on these headphones is not that great, though good enough for this price level. The headphones are asy to put on and are more comfortable than sets with headbands. However my gripe lies with the jack cord being too long. One can find yourself surrounded by yards of wire. THese headphones are hardwearing, though often the form pads keep on coming undone.
