I've been using this for about 2 weeks and it works perfectly. People can hear me when I online game and I can hear them just fine as well. It's comfortable and the mic doesn't get in the way if you go to take a drink or something with it still on. I've even moved the mic up away from my mouth and talked forgetting it was away from my mouth and people have still been able to hear me fine.

My only minor complaint would be that because I am on a laptop I don't need a very long cord and this cord is VERY long and sometimes that can get in the way and get tangled up easily. Other than that it's a great product for the price.

I was pleasantly surprise by the clear rich sound that these headsets delivered. I am happy that, after reviewing past opinions, I bought 2 sets. I am very satisfied with my purchase, and at a reasonable price, I bought 2 very good headsets with micro. In addition, I don't have a switch in the wires between the set and my computer. This is a real advantage, no more irritation about switch waisting, malfunctioning and interrupting the current between the computer and the headset as happened to me with other headsets before.
A good buy and I strongly reccommend this light weight and confortable headsets with microphone. It works very well.

Just reviewing to answer some questions about the connector. Because I couldn't find it explicitly anywhere in the description, I didn't find out until it arrived that it does not have a USB connection. There are two 3.5mm TRS jack plugs (one for microphone and one for headphones).

I telecommute so headphones with a microphone are a must. This is the second time I have bought this model from labtech. The first I broke by accident. Anyway, for VoIP and music they work well. Be aware that you can't walk around very much though since they have a short 8' cord.

I just noticed that these are around $30 right now. THIS IS A HUGE RIPOFF. Note that most of these positive reviews were written a while ago. I bought these when they were $9. At $30 you have way better options.

Pros:
-Sturdy
-Open design means it's very comfortable. No clip-ons or padding that seals your ears in, which makes it comfortable for wearing for long periods of time.
-Easy to use. If you have windows you basically just plug it in, adjust your mic volume, and it works.
-Cheap.
-Lightweight

Cons:
-Open headphones=sound leak. If you turn up your music, people around you will know.
-They don't come with any software. This means you will have to know how to configure mic/sound volume on your computer.
-The mic and headphone plug are very close together, so I would NOT(!!!!!!!!) buy these for desktops. Also, the cord is not that long, make sure you see the specifications before you purchase.

The thing with the cons is, they're not really design flaws, just the way the thing is made.

I have a tendency to purchase the top of the line, especially when it comes to electronics or products such as this. This time I decided to go the budget route and wasn't disappointed. I just recently signed up with Skype and needed headphones with a mic. These functioned great and I'm completely satisfied. Crystal clear reception and flawless integration. The only improvement could be a folding mechanism. I'll be traveling with these and am eager to see how they hold up long term.

I am using the headset to study a Spanish language course. My hearing is not very good but I have no problem with this headset. The microphone works well and I use it to repeat the phrases back so program can evaluate my pronunciation. It seems to work well on this also.

Works well. I purchase this because the one that came with Dragon Speaking Naturally software was hard to adjust and very uncomfortable. This set is easy to adjust, comfortable, and the mike and earphones work well.

I use this for gaming and for Skyping and it works great. The fit isn't too tight and the sound quality is great. So far it hasn't broken but I've only been using it a month.

This headset / microphone combo produces excellent audio playback and crystal clear audio recording. Great system especially at this price point.
